Sayuri felt her muscles ripple as she stared intently at the doe before her. She was quite surprised it had not already high-tailed it out of here, but Sayuri was thankful. The animal was only a few yards away, easy leaping distance. The wolf leaped then, stretching her muscles as far as they would go. Having calculated the distance before hand, she landed perfectly on the surprised deer's back. Sayuri grinned with satisfaction as she quickly hopped off her back almost before she could respond. Sayuri sprinted after the doe, easily keeping pace, but she did not move in on it; she was not foolish. Bringing down a deer single-pawed was no small thing.
Sayuri finally turned aside from her chase breathless; she always immensely enjoyed such times. The wind in her face, her tail lifting as a flag behind her. This was her life.
Suddenly Sayuri turned sharply, back to where she had come from. Her ears perked and her steps quickened; she always enjoyed returning home to the company of others. It was her life.

- Leo hummed a soft tune as he walked over to an edge of Gale Cliff, a little ways up, and sat. Sitting a foot away his brown eyes took in the scenery, looking out over the little space of cliff and into the wildlife. The mix of colors, a green scenery with multiple other colors popping up around was simply beautiful. A warm summer breeze drifted through the plants, ruffling the feathers of a hummingbird and a couple chickadees. When the wind passed, Leo saw a yellow butterfly land on a bush's flower, and it looked like the ultimate queen of bees with all the little yellow and black bugs flying around it. He sighed, content, and started humming again to fit the sound of the chirping birds. A part of him was baffled to be able to see the glory of nature... - He smiled a little at himself, and nodded in response to his thought while humming, It was a good idea to come here. Leo was probably foolish to get so caught up in scenery, but he couldn't help it, as he knew that he could never ignore such life. The tall male stood, his back legs lifting off the ground and his broad shoulders lifting up, stretching. He didn't make a sound as he felt the tension-releasing burn come from his muscles, and turned, continuing up the cliff. As he walked at his slow, leisurely pace, and the faint sound quick pawsteps reached his ears, and they pricked up in interest. - Leo continued to walk forward and soon a female wolf was before him, a quite pretty one at that, and he dipped his head in polite respect. When Leo's head raised, he sat back and gave a smile, "Hello." Kindness filled his tone as he took in her appearance, and he decided she wasn't a wolf he had met before; not a big surprise considering how little time he'd spent here. Quietly he took in the fact that her coloring wasn't much different than his, accept that maybe his tan coat was a little darker, and he had dark black on only his muzzle. A happy smile spread across his face, adding to his greeting. "What are you doing?" Leo asked, curious about why she'd be up on Gale Cliff, and a little bit hungry for a conversation.

Sayuri hummed happily as she trotted about in every direction, but always keeping a non-direct destination of the pack camp. Her feet were picked up high in the air, her head and tail also majestically in the air. As she rounded the cliff, she scented a male wolf. She was fully aware of him before he even noticed her. "Hello," she responded and looked back the way she had come. The scent of the doe was still fresh in her mind and nostrils. "I just finished a little chase." She sat down and scratched her neck, reaching with her hind paw. She stood back up with a snuff. "And what are you doing?" she asked with a smile.

- He smiled broadly at the word "chase", and let out a short, quiet laugh. Chasing things was quite entertaining... "That sounds like it was fun." Leo lowered his rump to the ground and his tail extended comfortably to his side, while his gaze followed a bird that dived into a nearby bush. The male was still slightly distracted by his la-la land. However, it showed that he was listening when his ears perked a bit higher, acknowledging her words. - When he looked back up at the female his usual kind smile was intact, "I've just been enjoying the scenery. Thanks for asking." His head snapped to the bird that just jumped out of the bush and took to the sky. Little, frantic chirps chimed noisily in the air and Leo figured that there was a nest in there. Again, his vision took in the female. "What were you chasing?" His head cocked to the side, ears flopping a little with the movement, and an apologetic look came over his face. "Sorry, I should tell you my name first, huh? I'm Leo. Who are you?" - As he waited, he tried to place her, but simply couldn't. He really had no friends here, or enemies thankfully. This meeting was actually quite exciting, and he considered the possibilities of a great friendship between himself and another. - He was going to la-la land again.

Sayuri watched the bird as well, and the male's, whom she now knew as Leo, interest. "I normally go after deer," she said. She shook her ruff and blinked. The sun was in her eyes now, but she didn't want to be impolite and turn away from Leo. She sat down and lowered her head so his body shielded her eyes from the bright rays. Then she noticed he was kind of dazed and said, "Well, I'd better get to where I was going, don't want to be late ya know?" She stood up and blinked again. She wagged her tail and turned around, her body language saying the male could come with her or stay out here. She broke into a soft lope, taking in the scenery, but also pinpointing any interesting trails she could investigate another time.

- Leo's attention shifted back to the female and he gave a big grin and nodded, agreeing with the deer statement. "They're fun to play with..." He flash backed to when he and his sisters would hunt, his grin turning into a small, wistful smile. - Suddenly the female was turning, and going away. He frowned a little, noticing he didn't even catch her name, but his frown was quickly replaced by a large smile as he took in the body language. He scrambled to his feet and started to follow, noticing he was a little dizzy by his swing of emotions. - However, he was ultimately glad to be able to tag along, he bounded quickly up to the nameless female and matched her pace, his focus on her now. She was proving to be a source of interest. "Where do you have to be?" he asked, his head tilting a little while his curiosity rose to his brown eyes.

Sayuri was glad the handsome male was coming along, she liked to travel in company. She didn't mind being alone either, but...well, she liked both. Sayuri shrugged to his question. "No where, really, I'm just...I don't know, I'm just looking for something different from what I have been doing and figured I would go back to camp." She suddenly stumbled over a pebble and picked herself up quickly. She chuckled nervously. "Oops." She turned forward again and kept walking. Her keen nose picked up the scent of a game trail going across the current path, which she noted in the back of her mind. She glanced around so she could remember how to get back to the trail. It had a number of possibilities.
