With the sun warming the air thick with Spring's pollen, as its rays burst through the leafy ceiling of the forest, it was a beautiful day. A soft but cool breeze gently rustled the undergrowth, adding harmoniously to the perfectly pitched chirping of a bird somewhere in the distance. Yes, it was a perfect Spring's morning, and it was clear that nature was awake and out in its full beauty after the sense-dulling Winter that Caden Valley had had. Through the forest a she-wolf was picking her way, her satin-like fur beautiful enough to rival the forest's own beauty. And, being the supremely self-confident wolf that she was, Tallulah was aware of it.
As the precious daughter of Falling Moon's leader, it was a rare sight that she'd be seen away from her own pack's territory. However, she'd recently been feeling a little neglected lately, with her needs for being constantly complimented not quite being met. She knew she was a stunning shewolf, and she knew she had the ability to make a wolf's eyes stick to her sleek figure and pretty face, but she had absolutely no idea why the Falling Moons seemed to have stopped paying her all the attention that she felt she deserved. So, in an unusual move, she'd come to No Man's Land, in order to seek out some admiration, and maybe even an interesting conversation. Suprisingly enough she was actually capable of decent social skills, once she got past her own arrogance.
Looking around impatiently at the empty forest in front of her, she frowned in disappointment. Where was the audience that she desired? I suppose i'll wait for a few minutes and see if anyone comes along, she decided as she found a sunny patch of forest floor to rest upon. Stretching out luxuriously, the sun ray's glinting off her creamy pelt, she then sat down, and began to wait.

A loner wolf came through a set of trees taking in the sunny, yet cool, sights. As he did so a female caught his orbs, yet he seemed to stray some holding back. He could smell her so he knew she most likely knew he was there now, 'Might as well stay now,' he thought to himself some bitterly. He drops his gaze knowing full well of the 'rivalry,' although perhaps that wasn't the best word for it, full out war seemed to describe it more. That's what it was in his mind.
He let his gaze rise slightly to keep her in his view. Maybe she knew he was a loner and he could so avoid conflict by keeping mainly to himself. He hadn't wanted any wolf to know of his plans to join up with the Dancing Stars, at least till he had voiced it himself, 'That will come when I am ready,' he thought, and became proud of his secret plans.
He let his cranium completely rise after his conclusions were reached as to fully grasp everything that was about to happen. His audits raised in alert, making sure the other was peaceful, and if not either giving him time to run or possibly stand his ground and fight. His tassle was a bit below spine level showing he wasn't really used to standing his own ground, posture spoke of sloppiness and laziness.

As a light breeze playfully ruffled the soft fur on her nose, Tallulah couldn't help but catch the whiff of another wolf in the distance. Her ears pricked for the crunching of footsteps on the dry forest floor, she saw in the distance a wolf who she didn't recognise coming her way. Trying to identify which pack he might belong to, she concluded that he certainly wasn't Falling Moon, and he didn't have the slightly less familiar scent of the Dancing Stars either. She concluded he must be loner... hmmm, she pondered, aware that loners could sometimes be dangerous. I wonder what he's like? The other wolf's posture did seem rather subdued, almost submissive with the way his tail was positioned in a low position. Perhaps then she needn't be too afraid of him, as he seemed almost afraid of her.
As the unknown wolf drew closer, Tallulah decided she'd see if she could get a bit of entertainment out of him, a conversation perhaps. With her tail wrapped elegantly around her paws as she sat, she turned her head to face him properly and gave him a slightly imperious while also bemused look. Sunlight glinted off her coffee-coloured eyes as she blinked, and said 'no need to look so scared!' Her tone was light while still maintaining a hint of cynicsm. She refrained from moving from her comfy position in a warm patch of sunlight, and instead in her usual 'Alpha's spoilt daughter' manner decided she'd let the other wolf come to her.

The tilt of his dome suggested he was a bit confused. He began to let his cranium lift along with his orbs to get a good sight on her. He knew not to trust another 'that' much and his audits seemed to sweep swiveling different directions before he even began moving. She seemed nice was his first impression, but he decides to give it some time. He found true colors were only revealed with the precious spending of that four letter word.
He finished his sweep deciding it was safe to begin to near her. He gives her a beady look of distrust and asks, "So what brings you out here," with a hint of a low growl reverberating from his vocals, causing silvery fur to vibrate along his throat. He quickly drops it showing he wasn't there for a fight, in fact quite the opposite he was a peace lover.
He came to rest a little more than seven feet away, again a symbol of not trusting the female. He seemed much more alert, however his audits drooped off some showing some laziness in his alert posture. His tail was still slightly lowered as he was used to holding it like that, and normal was just easier. He continued standing there, readying to run should he have to.

As the wolf came a little closer, but still showed obvious signs of wariness and distrust, Tallulah couldn't help but giggle in a slightly catty and snide way. From the way he was looking at her, with such suspicious eyes, she was pretty sure that he was the sort of wolf who took himself very seriously - the kind of wolf Tallulah found it easier to mock than have a conversation with. She liked a wolf who could joke around, have some fun, maybe slipping in a few compliments to her at the same time. She wasn't someone who took anything very seriously, so she didn't really understand when other wolves did.
In comparison to the other wolf's rather tense posture, Tallulah was clearly quite relaxed and unafraid. Fixing her coffee-coloured eyes back on the stranger after having had a bit of a laugh to herself, she smiled a little at his question and said 'Well obviously, i'm bored.' Normally she'd have probably preferred to keep the attention focused on herself after this opportunity, but today, because of her exceptional boredom, she thought she might (for a change) actually be willing to talk about something other than herself. Perhaps this wolf might have an interesting story for her, even if he did seem a bit of a serious type. 'And you? Who are you? I don't recognise you...' She held his gaze for a moment questioningly. The look on her face was rather expectant - she was used to getting what she wanted, so why should this situation be any different.

Silver completely felt uncomfortable around this new wolf and contemplates even running. His dome tilted as he recieved her answer and her questions. He lets his cranium straighten and looks the opposite direction as if to escape. As he did so, before he knew it, "I am Silver,' had slipped from his, tight from stress, muzzle.
He wasn't used to communicating with others, so his story literally escaped him and in a way he hoped she didn't ask again. Her persistence was his 'enemy' and he didn't plan on caving or letting her have his pride. In fact he assumed a bit more of an aggressive pose to hopefully just make her back off of the subject entirely. He wasn't, at the moment, prepared to actually attack, his goal was to appear threatening only.
