As a general rule, Esmerelda ruled all situations by her heart and very rarely actually thought hard about a decision. She preferred life this way, always thriving on high levels of emotions so sometimes even falling apart felt right. Right now, though, there was an entirely new feeling building within her. Slowly, surely, she was sitting here looking at Bion and feeling drawn to him. It was slightly indescribable, but she wasn't going to ignore it.
Slowly, her eyes were softening as she looked at him. At his next words, there was no other possible answer.
"Of course," she replied, but the fuzziness in her brain dissolved slightly as she tasted the seriousness of the situation, just from the tone of his voice and change of expression. "What's wrong?"

He sighed gently, his expression softening as he watched Esmerelda. He wasn't really sure how to start, which was odd, as he was usually good at talking someones ear off. "Thanks," he said with a shy smile. Bion, shy? "Well, I told you that I can't remember my past?" he raised an eyebrow, "Not so long ago, I met a wolf named Rose. She's a Falling Moon, but she said..." he couldn't help but grimace slightly, "she said that shes my mum. Then a few days later I met Raiden. He's Rose's mate, and he says he's my dad."His expression held that of a confused, troubled wolf, but it only lasted a few moments, before he had joyously restored his everyday-wear-happy-smile. "I don't know whether to believe them or not. I can't remember them, and...Well, this sounds mean, but I've gone a year without them, and I've been fine. I can't help thinking that if they were my parents, they'd be dissapointed in who I've become..." He trailed off, his smile flickered off for a few seconds, before he tore his gaze away from Es, and stared at the ground by his paws.
He didn't like all this confusion, it was damaging his good mood.

Esmerelda thought about this for a moment, processing what he'd told her. She lifted one of her tawny coloured paws and gently settled it on top of his, a gesture of shy affection and comfort. He seemed like he was quite torn up about this.
"Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, they'd just want you to be happy?" she asked softly. "I doubt anyone could be disappointed in you, Bion, you've been nothing but nice since the moment I met you."
She sighed slightly, unable to smile at the sadness of the situation but still so willing to try and offer him hope. "Why don't you talk to them? I mean, this is a new year, maybe they'll be having more pups. Maybe they won't try to keep you with them, if they're good parents they'll want you to be happy, right?"
She thought a little more, and glanced up at the clouds moving across the sky. She looked down at him again, green eyes sad and soft.
"If I had the chance to see my parents again, I would. Despite any complications." she said the last three words extremely quietly.
