Mother earth’s slowing down, she’s still spinning around And we, are gettin dizzy. K'TARNI A soft, sweet breeze blew about the meadow. The warm spring-time sun illuminated the field and danced gracefully upon the symphony of colour that coated every inch of land. Butterflies flittered in pairs upon the mellow wind coupling with the chirping of sun birds and the soft buzz of hummingbirds, filling the atmosphere with life. Amid this glorious display of nature, existed a soft white figure. The wind played elegantly with her coat as she strode through the pleasant meadow. Her tail swept through the soft pasture, sending an array of thistles twirling gracefully into the breeze.
She released a soft sigh, the corners of her mouth turned up as her green eyes admired the beautiful scene. Another year had passed, meaning she was another year older. She looked down at her paws as if trying to pick out some kind of visible change. She didn't feel much older; in fact, she felt quite giddy. Her pace had increased to a light-hearted skip as she made her way towards the shade of a tree that was slowly, but surely regaining its lush leaves after the wintertime. As she reached the shade she shook herself out, she felt a little restless with the coming of the season. There was an interesting scent in the air that made her senses buzz and her eyes dance with amusement.
She rubbed her head against the tree and smiled to herself before relaxing her legs and letting her bodice come to a rest in the cool grasses. Ah yes, spring! A great time, hell, the best time. She rolled onto her back and looked up at the clouds that drifted between the gaps in the leaves. She emitted an auditable giggle for no good reason. Ah, here we go - its becoming involuntary. She tightened her lips but the silly grin remained. At this point she began to wonder where her supposed pack was. Caden? Anyone?
Her childish grin fell into a pout and she rolled back onto her stomach and rested her chin on her paws. She would have to go searching sometime soon - it can't be a good thing to never see your pack mates could it? Would she end up wondering into No Man's Land just for a little entertainment?

Oberon was the kind of wolf who always sought the beauty in everything he saw; waited until it was thundering to follow a rockslide down the looming mountains, watching a mother bird teaching her younger ones to fly and not leaving until the last chick had left the nest, or perhaps, as he was right now, absorbing the first warm rays of sunlight in the season which only cried 'hope'. Spring was upon them, and Oberon was running through the Starlands.
He could feel as the sun shone through the trees, dappling his bronze fur with specks of light and he felt the chill breeze catching in his long winter coat as he ran. He almost felt as if it were lifting him, and a few of his rushed running strides became longer, lazier and he bounded over a log blocking his path and ran straight out into the open bowl of sunshine which was the Meadowland.
It was right about now he saw a flash of white and he skidded to an agile halt among the soft brush. He looked up again and tried to place who the packmember was, but he only recalled seeing her once or twice before. His ears flickered curiously and he smiled crookedly, tipping his head very slightly to one side. "Sorry about the dramatic entrance..." he trailed off slightly, clearly wondering what her name was.

K'tarni's ears swiveled as she listened to the breeze. Her green eyes swept up wards momentarily as the feeling of someone approaching engulfed her. The atmosphere buzzed lightly, feeling heavier all of a sudden. She lifted her nose and took a few short breaths. She caught the scent of another wolf, it held that tell-tale aroma of the Starlands so she remained relaxed as she scanned the clearing. Her gaze fell upon the figure of the male but a moment later. Her tail beat softly at the ground as the feeling of being alone evaporated with his words.
In a gentle, fluid movement the white female moved to her all-fours and in a flurry of thistles, she walked toward the male to greet him. As she got within a suitable range she came to a halt and dipped her nose to him "Don't apologize, your dramatic entrance is the most interesting this that's come across me in quite a while." Her words were laced with pleasant laughter. She cleared her voice light-heartedly before drawing a short breath to speak again "I'm K'tarni, I don't think we've met..." Stating the obvious, she grinned before tilting her head slightly.
"So you are a Stars wolf as well, I take it?" Her question was followed by a slight wrinkle in her nose. She hadn't had much practice in conversation making. She just hoped he wasn't going to be a critic.

Oberon tipped his head curiously, wondering why he had never met this female before. It seemed to be a pleasant surprise nonetheless, so he half-smiled again and stepped forwards as she did before resting back on his haunches comfortably.
"Pleasure to meet you K'tarni, that's an interesting name you've got there..." he commented but his tone was nothing but complimentary. "I'm Oberon, and yes I'm a Stars wolf as well. Are you new around here? I'm not sure we've spoken before."
He asked the question curiously, and subtly studied her bright white pelt and shocking green eyes with his own bronze pelt whipping up in the wind and his smile reaching to his golden eyes as he looked back at her, awaiting an answer.
