Bandit has never really lost that go-get-'em attitude she was brought up with, but rather as she aged she learnt to control her more childish side. She is really quite serious compared to what most pretty females are like, she rarely jokes and when she does it is often in her dry sense of humour which no one seems to get. She's quite cold and distant most of the time, but very involved when she wants to be.
If she makes a decision, if she sets her mind to something, nothing can stop her. Her determination is one of her redeeming features, if she's promised it you can guarantee it'll get done. She always keeps her promises. She's never in something for the glory of it, as she has a very good moral core which is evident in the way she speaks. She is quite intelligent and knows that this paired with her tall stature and natural leading abilities often intimidates other wolves.
She is very, very protective and is willing to fight to the death for one that she loves. She is not overprotective, however, as she knows that every wolf needs room to breathe and grow without someone watching their every move. If there's one thing you can count on with Bandit, it's the absolute truth. She won't fabricate any story for the sake of not hurting someone's feelings, she believes that she always has time to comfort another wolf if the truth hurts them- either way, if you ask her a question she will either avoid responding or answer in complete blunt honesty. Sensitivity is not her middle name, but she can be a very good friend if anyone lets her close enough.
History:
Bandit was the eldest of Xaka and Lotus's first litter. Xaka and Lotus started up their pack, the Dancing Stars, just after Bandit and her five younger siblings were born. They were very proud and happy, until Lotus became sick with an illness her mother had died with. She knew what it was like to witness such a traumatic death, so she bid goodbye to her mate and pups and disappeared into the harsh lands beyond Empyrean Valley to die without disturbance. Bandit had always been a 'daddy's girl' and adored her father, she was determined to follow in his steps and lead the pack when he stepped down. However, she lost all of her positive attitude towards leading when Xaka invited Quianna to be his next mate. Bandit could not believe that her father had chosen a new mate just because the female had Alpha qualities. Everyone knew he didn't love Quianna, and yet Bandit knew that a bond would be formed and eventually Xaka would fall in love with Quianna.
She wasn't willing to watch that, knowing it would tear her apart and make her hate her father. So, she said goodbye to him and her younger siblings, deciding with Vesuvius to have secret seasonal meetings just beyond the border of the Dancing Stars land. She knew it was in her blood somehow to lead, it suited her too much for her to let it go easily, but she was determined never to make a 'Quianna' out of herself. She ended up joining pack after pack- only ones lead by lone males, rising through the ranks in each until the packs were clamouring for her to be made Alpha as well. Every single time she thought she'd accept, she ended up running away. She was beginning to dread her meetings with Vesuvius, as each season changed- Summer; Shaye's taken Cocoa and half the pack with him and left to the opposite side of the valley, Autumn; Things were going from bad to worse and Xaka was falling for Quianna, Winter; Food shortage was dangerous and Duke and Anevay had taken over, Spring; The pack was being seriously threatened for their lands and Xaka and Quianna had new pups, Summer; There'd been an uprising and Xaka was dead.
That was the last straw for Bandit, and she wished her brother all the luck she could give him before fleeing far, far away. She joined packs every so often, but this time she was not rising through the ranks because she was not trying. She drifted along in a discontented limbo for years before she heard that an earthquake had hit near Empyrean Valley. The word of the earthquake had travelled so far from it's source, but Bandit knew in her sad heart it was true and that what was left of the pack was destroyed. She went back to check and found herself silently following the string of surviving wolves leaving Empyrean Valley. She followed from a distance, and they never knew she was there, and when she arrived in Caden Valley she went straight to Caden and asked to become part of the pack; the Dancing Stars were reborn and Bandit was determined to be a significant part of them this time. She reached the position of Beta after some time, and has settled into her new role nicely.
Physical Description:
Bandit is predominantly a mish-mash of black and white. She appears to have a slight 'mask' of white across her eyes and her cheeks, but this has become less pronounced over time. Her back, head, ears and a ring around her neck are all black, but her other markings are less obvious. She isn't all that conventional-looking, and has never been considered beautiful as she is quite tall and muscular for a female. One of her most striking features are her eyes, they are bright burnt amber in colour; exactly like her father's were. The way she holds her tall but slim frame and her bright eyes are often the only resemblances people need to see to know she was raised by a strong Alpha and has his blood in her veins.
