It was early morning. Most wolves weren’t up by now, but some early birds walked out of their den to watch the sun rise. A wolf wasn’t, she was running along the mountain, paws thudding in the ground and leaving behind mud, grass and whatever else was in the ground. With a determined look on her face, the Delta ran faster, chasing after the hare that was attempting to get away from her. The key word was ‘attempting’. A wolf like her with an empty stomach wasn’t someone you wanted to fight with.
Claws digging into the ground, chest heaving, Myu seriously wanted this food. She sped after the hare, biting into its back and pinning it’s front feet down to the ground when she was close enough. The back feet kicked about, hitting her throat, but she refused to let go. She bit down harder, breaking the spine, the crack echoing in her mind, then she bit down on the neck. It was now obviously dead, and Myu felt like she could relax. Her tense muscles relaxed and she flopped down onto her stomach.
She dug right into the meal. Feeling it fill her stomach slowly, Myu now had nothing to do. She wondered what everyone else in the pack was up to and if they were up. The red and orange rays of the rising sun made her coat glisten, but she moved too soon for her to bask in the warmth. She wandered away from the corpse for scavengers. Snorting, Myu climbed upwards, wondering if any other early bird would be about.

Making her way up the mountain, the young she-wolf already found herself sick of her new home. In the early morning, her coat glistened slightly, but her beauty masked her hunger, and foul mood. Her nose caught the fresh scent of blood, and she slowly made her way to the kill, wondering what her breakfast would be. As she got closer, she caught scent another smell-another member of her pack. Sighing because her growling stomach nagged at her, she made her way cautiously to Myu.
Seeing part of the rabbit was still untouched, she stopped and looked at the gray and tan wolf. She slowly walked over to it, bent her neck, and took it. Backing up a few steps, she looked to see if Myu had made any movements to retrieve the rabbit. Seeing none she set it down, carefully beginning to eat. Her green eyes kept straying, looking to see if her breakfast woud be snatched away. Not that she'd let that happen.

Myu paused, ear twitching. Slowing to a halt, she could hear footsteps behind her, but they stopped. The female guessed it was near the left-overs she had left for people. Slowly turning, Myu watched Fallon eat almost nervously. Staring at the wolf, she remembered her parents, the old Betas; Josiah and Almira. She remembered Almira mostly, because of the fight she had with her for the Beta position. She had no emotional memories because of remembering Almira. Remember the beta fight reminded her of Dagger, who reminded her of Key, who then reminded her of the fact he tried to flirt with her when killing Eagle, which then reminded her of Anevay. Ah, Anevay. Ah well. Poor girl.
Myu walked towards Fallon slowly. She had her head quite high with a little air of dominance around her, but only because she felt slightly more superior than the younger wolf. She stopped a few feet away. “Fallon, right?” she asked sharply, sounding more like a demand than a question really, “Don’t you know how to hunt properly?”
The second question was actually a question. It sounded rude and taunting, which it was, but that was Myu’s nature. She frowned at her, looking questioning yet fierce at the same time. She waited, slowly sitting on her haunches, showing she was going no where, nor that she was going to be much of a threat(unless Fallon made a reason for her to be).

Fallon lifted her head slowly, one ear raised as she turned the question over in her mind. She dipped her head slightly, to the demanding of her name. A small pang of dislike began to stir in the pits of her stomach. Who did Myu think she was? Fallon could already tell from her haughty nature, that this fae didn't know who she was dealing with. Ignoring the remains of the rabbit, she stood up tall, her head now held high like she was used to carrying it. She was just as tall as Myu was-she had inherited a large build somewhere in her bloodline.
Tilting her head slightly to the side, she scoffed at her packmate. Why yes, I know how to hunt properly. But why waste energy I don't have this early in the morn, when you've already prepared it for me? By the way, thanks doll, though I like my meals a tad larger. Her gaze was piercing, but her manner as she too sat down showed she thought little of Myu's question. Insults were hardly anything she got her fur in a bunch about, and she could be rude right back.
Yawning as if bored with the whole ideal, she looked away nonchalantly. She didn't feel threatened one bit by Myu, and she was making it known.

Well, Fallon seemed very lazy. She snorted, now sad that she didn’t finish the meal completely, and rolled her eyes. “If I knew I was preparing it for you, then I would have made sure to make it a lot bigger.” she said, glancing at Fallon’s stomach, “Lord knows that’s your usual diet.” she said with a fake smile. If Fallon wanted to play it that way, then Myu would too. Well, she would continue to. Hopefully it wouldn't just be a bitch-fight.
Myu’s smile turned into a distasteful frown. She wouldn’t bother adding on ‘doll’ like the word was poison, that was used far too often. She didn’t like that nickname, though, and would show her dislike for it if Fallon continued to use it. She just waited for her next witty comeback, hoping it would be crappy or very offensive so Myu could bat her over the ear and they could either fight or leave each other alone.

Fallon smirked, and began to lick her lips clean. Yes, well now you know. Maybe you could actually catch something worthwhile next time you're at it. Or are you the one who needs hunting lessons? She ignored the comment about her stomach, she been traveling for weeks with no signs of any kind of herd, and hadn't been here long to catch anything decent. What did Myu know? Not a damn thing, she thought.
Snorting her distaste, she began to groom herself, hopng to bug the other female as much as possible. She was in one of her moods, and anything she could do to piss Myu off would give her the utmost satisfaction. She laughed to herself; she was nothing like her family.
Remembering her early days, her mind went back to when she would play with her younger siblings-the valiant Omari, the protective one; the pushover Naila, she was the most fun to pick on, and how sick it made Fallon to think of how nice she was; and then there was Denzin, her partner in crime. He had to be her favorite sibling, no doubt, even if he was next to last being born in their litter. A small smile appeared as she remembered the time spent with them and their mother and father, but her mind quickly snapped back to the present, and her current annoyance of a situation. Myu, ugh.
She hoped her game would end soon, she couldn't be bothered to try and force entertainment out of this wolf all day. Afterall, why should she lower herself to talk to Myu, when there were much more interesting wolves to tease? Though really, maybe Fallon just wanted a good fight for once. Just maybe.

Myu rolled her eyes. She was out of insults, and she didn’t want to snap back with a childish remark such as ‘so what’ or something like that. She was too… Well, she was no where near sophisticated. Proud, perhaps. No, mature. If Myu was proud, then she wouldn’t fight like a maniac when the time was right(or wrong). But, honestly, as a little annoying twat, Fallon was doing it quite well actually. “Next time you’ll be hunting your own food.” she said with a tone that suggested there was nothing else to it, but Myu expected Fallon might say something anyway, “So it doesn’t matter if the next thing I catch is worthwhile to you.”
She looked round, wondering if anyone would come and save her from the little witch in front of her. Seeing as no one came, she snorted as if the whole Falling Moon pack had let her down. She looked at Fallon, glancing at the left-overs. She couldn’t believe Fallon actually just took the left-overs she had left there, it was disgusting. Myu wondered if Almira and Josiah had actually tried to teach her to hunt at all, and she suddenly questioned her skills as a whole.
The wind picked up, sending the scent of fresh blood and other things her way. Shaking her head, Myu would have raised her eyebrow at Fallon. “Look, unless we’re going to sit here and wait for the scavengers to come and pick at your left overs, I’m off.” she snarled.

Fallon rolled her beautiful eyes, but inside she was glad she had gotten to Myu. It gave her a sort of satisfaction, but now her fun was over. However, she too smelled the blood, and her stomach began to growl again. That poor excuse of a rabbit that Myu had left had done nothing for her hunger. So, she was off on a hunt. Especially if that was where Myu was going. Fallon smirked at the snarl Myu gave her.
Well, I doubt it would be worthwhile anyway, that rabbit wasn't so satisfying. I doubt the even vultures would have eaten it if I hadn't come. And since there's blood around now, I was just leaving. Afterall, might be something worthwhile. Want to come? Maybe you cold use the practice.
She smirked, then stood up. She was done here.
