Even though her fur had shedded a little during Spring, to get rid of her warm winter pelt, Sayuri's fur was still thick and heavy. Being dark too, it absorbed the intense sunlight that shone down in the heat of the day. The shewolf lay lazily by the riverside, tongue panting a little, letting the idea of fresh water cool her down a little.
It wasn't working too well however. The sound of the water rippling over pebbles just made her want to jump in and cool herself off - especially as she was such an active wolf normally. If it wasn't so hot, she'd be running around as usual; anything to keep busy and moving, with a smile upon her face.
The only thing that was stopping her was the thought of loners in No Man's Land getting tetchy that she was on the boundary of their space.... Ah well, it had never stopped her before. Sayuri pushed herself to her feet, and with one gentle bound, launched herself forwards into the water. It wasn't nearly deep enough to submerge her, but as the mild liquid washed over her fur, she felt instantly relieved.

Summer always seems to bring out the best of spirits in the dancing stars land. The weather cheered up, and the land seemed to glow vibrantly with colour. Even the already happy wolves, like Bion, seemed to brighten even more. Bion loved the summer just as much as he loved spring..and autumn...and winter...AAAH heck he loved them all!
He particually liked Summer, though, because everyone seemed to smile. He enjoyed seeing other wolves in a cheery mood, it seemed to make everything flow. Bounding through the forest was the free spirited wolf himself, who could no longer be called a pup and yet lacked the maturity of being an adult.
His happy grin, which was constantly plastered to his maw, seemed to gleam brighter than usual. After all, it was summer! He drew near to Star Stream, which he knew as the border of the packlands, and slowed down. His vibrant green eyes shone from under his brow, landing on the she-wolf who was by the stream. His face lit up. Company! He trotted over and wagged his tail cheerfully. 'Hello.'

Sayuri grinned as she heard a rather young wolf's voice greet her, her face lighting up with happiness. She was very much a wolf who enjoyed company a great deal, as long as it wasn't a wolf who had lost her trust or respect - although willing to trust complete strangers, she could hold grudges for a long time. Other than that, she was a completely bubbly young wolf!
"Hello!" She said happily, "I'm Sayuri, Caden's little sister. Who are you?" Having turned around to get a good look at the wolf who had greeted her, she decided to step out of the river since she had cooled off a fair bit. She lightly leapt onto the mossy bank, and shook her pelt dry. Seeing water droplets glistening in the sun as they flew away from her fur, Sayuri realised she'd accidentally flicked the surrounding area with water - including Bion.
"Oops," she said grinning sheepishly.
