It wasn't raining yet, but Taya was pretty sure that it was going to pretty soon here. But she wasn't too concerned; the rain always helped to make this place prettier. The thirsty flowers could use a little more perk to them. The trees were looking depressed and dry.
Taya was never one for wandering off alone, but lately she was finding herself more alone than ever. She hadn't wrestled with anyone in a while or formed any close bonds with her packmates. She couldn't say she was lonely, because she really wasn't... She was just itching for a hunt or something else the pack could do together in order to tighen their ropes.
It was quite contradicting for her to be in No Man's Land when she wanted to spend time with Dancing Stars. But maybe she'd run into someone new, like a loner or a Falling Moon. Just hopefully not a Falling Moon like Duke or Justyn. They were a too agressive for her standards.
Taya stopped walking in her tracks and took a moment to sniff the breeze. With all of those pretty summer flowers around this clearing, it smelled so sweet and wonderful. The touch of humidity in the air almost made it smell fresher, too.

The only bond Bandit had formed in the new Dancing Stars pack so far was with Oberon, and it couldn't exactly be considered a friendship. It was just more companionship, because Oberon was so far the only wolf who she could be with who accepted her usually constant silence. The silences were not awkward, for they were often filled with the padding of paws from the two Deltas.
Although Oberon was two years younger than Bandit, he enjoyed the time they spent together because he felt intellectually and physically equal to Bandit. If it came down to a fight, he would probably win, but if it came down to a battle between minds, she would probably win. On a day-to-day basis, however, he understood that she liked silence as long as it was not awkward. Oberon's perception skills worked particularly well in this case, and he had no need to babble on endlessly either. It worked.
Of course, Bandit knew barely anything about Oberon and vice versa. So far, though, she wasn't planning on getting close to any wolf in the pack- except Caden. No matter what Bandit did, she was very quietly determined that she would one day run this pack, with or without Caden by her side. She'd made up her mind to finally follow in her dead father's footprints and lead the Stars to victory, the kind they'd never had before. She wouldn't voice it aloud, but she had little to no faith in Caden.
Oberon's ears perked when he caught sound, and then scent, of another wolf ahead. The scent was familiar, though not because he had met the wolf before. He frowned, he thought he'd met all of the Stars wolves. "Hello," he called out as Taya came into view. He trotted forwards, and Bandit was keeping speed with him.
She came out of her daydream and focused on the other Stars wolf. Taya... Taya... she tried to remember if Vesuvius had ever mentioned Taya. He'd done very well in keeping her up to date on the old pack, but he'd never mentioned Taya. She must be a new Stars wolf, like Oberon and Caden. She didn't speak a greeting, instead inclining her head slightly, keeping her burning eyes on the opposing female.

Annoyingly, Eva was beginning to regret coming to no mans land. Not because she was afraid, or because it was about to rain, but because she felt a bit alone. Normally Eva was okay with being alone, especially in dancing stars land, because there; you never really felt alone. There was so much there to take you mind of everything, even when it was raining there, you still felt safe. In no mans land, though, it made Eva feel a bit uneasy. The sky was turning a depressing shade of grey, and the tree's seemed lifeless and dull. She didn't like it here at all.
Suddenly, she picked up three scents, and her ears shot up instinctively. She ground to a halt and tried to decifer the smells. She breathed a soft sigh of a relief. All of them were dancing stars.
Padding forward curiously, but when she heard someone speak she quickened her pace to a trot. Three wolves came into view. All very different, was the first thought that came to Eva's mind. There was a male, multiple shades of brown and rather handsome. She knew immediatly this was Oberon, she'd never met him, but she always took the liberty of learning names. The other two were female, but again, very different. One was slightly small, mainly white; whilst the other was only black and white, odd, but pretty all the same.
Padding toward them, she nodded politely, then opened her maw. 'Hello.'

With the sudden arrival of new wolves (and not just one, but three spectacular Dancing Stars'), Taya's face brightened and she looked like she was going to explode with joy. Of course, she would just embarass herself if she went crazy right in front of them, so she channeled all of her excitement into some fierce wagging of her tail.
"Hello everyone," she greeted pleasantly, her face calm but smily. She looked at each wolf in turn, giving each of them a nod and another tail wag. A lot of people would call Taya puppish - and she was in a lot of ways - but she was more than that, really. Taya was just one-of-a-kind. "It's great to have company!"
She tried to remember the names of all three wolves, but could only remember Bandit's and Wheya's. And that's because they were both here before Taya had joined the pack. "I'm Taya... In case you've forgotten. I doubt it, though!"

Bandit very nearly winced. A Dancing Stars chatterbox female, how original. She refrained from rolling her eyes because that would be spiteful, and Bandit wasn't spiteful. She took a deep breath, and smiled to appear more friendly. It was clear that a smile was meant to be on Bandit's face, it made her features so much more relaxed and approachable.
"Glad we could be companionable to you," she smiled, glancing up at Eva. Another new Caden Valley wolf. So few wolves survived from Empyrean, Bandit thought sadly. "I'm Bandit," she looked between Eva and Taya as she introduced herself, and then fell quiet again.
Oberon glanced over at Eva, and smiled slightly. She was the Beta, he was sure of that. He knew of her, but not her as a wolf yet. Turns out that was about to change. "Hello," he dipped his head to her, and then Taya. He did know of Taya, that was true, he hadn't been able to place it before. "Oberon," he introduced himself shortly and sat down, making himself more comfortable and then becoming still.
