He had been here for a few months, sure, but he hadn’t explored everywhere yet. He had made sure to avoid some places, like Falling Moon territory and the fog, which was a bit dangerous when you had so many other loners about, and he didn’t want to harm his lovely skin again. He remembered the fight with the stranger in the vicious pack. He stared at the cave entrance, ear twitching at the sound of birds wings flapping as it flew off the trees. He snorted, making his way into the dark cave, a bit cautious about his blind spot.
The sound of rushing water made him feel slightly awkward. It always made him think that water was going to explode through the rocks and send him back out again. He quickened his pace, the sound of claws against rock echoing. He glanced around, stopping a bit to gaze at the dripping water. The air was damp, almost difficult to breathe in, and Luka scrunched his nose up in disgust. He had been in better places, that was for sure. Snorting, ear twitching as he heard it echo, Luka stopped so he could still see the entrance. He paused, sighed and sat down, waiting for some company. Someone had to come soon. No one could stay away from him.

Ritbant wandered into the Riverrush cave, not expecting anyone to be there. He was wandering, like he usually did, and thought he'd visit some places he wasn't often in. His Red gold pelt gleamed in the sun as he strolled, and his mind was drifting, but still ready to be alert at a moments notice. But he hadn't heard the stranger Loner. He didn't smell like a pack wolf, but he didn't smell like a Loner Rit had scented or met in his wanderings in this valley. Rit hesitantly stepped closer, his muscles tense, his eyes wary, waiting for the wolf to make the next move.

It wasn't like she was asking for trouble. It had just happened...She hadn't meant to be mean, and she didn't know she WAS being mean. It all happened so fast...and now look. Know it was thrown back in her face. Literally. Damn skunks.
Nope, Eva wasn't in any emotional trauma at all. On the contrary, she'd never felt happier. Apart from the fact she smelt awful. There was always that. She padded elegantly toward riverrush cave, ebony coat absorbing the sunlight that beat down on it. As she crept in, she felt the presence of two wolves, their scent thick in the air. She doubted that they wouldn't smell her. Padding slowly forward, her mind began to wander back to the pack, and she lost track of where she was for a second. She found herself wondering how Caden was, whether he was still worried about the falling moon. Ofcourse, he was alpha, it was his job to worry and protect the pack, but Eva couldn't help but... She snapped back to reality, but kept her facial expression calm, something she'd learnt to do, so it wasn't obvious she was distracted easily. She was though, and she was getting more distracted everyday. She wished she would either focus, or become a delta and live life more on the wild side... Oh, she didn't know, she was just living life as it came to her. Reminding herself that there were other wolves here, her brow furrowed, her guard going up. 'Hello?' she called calmly, no worry or fear clear in her voice.

Ritbant shied away from the skunk stench. The day just kept on getting worse. He was getting nervous, and he was fighting the fight reaction. He didn't have a real run reaction. So he just turned with a snarl to the female approaching.
"Had a run in with a skunk smelly? Why do you have to pollute my air?" He wasn't rude really, but his nerves were slowly being frayed into wire, which cut.

Luka didn’t notice Ritbant, but the stench of skunk-smell, god knows how many times he had been sprayed by one throughout the years, made him grimace. He frowned, looking round and his tail twitched when he spotted Ritbant. Luka got along more with females than males, it was pretty obvious, so he wasn’t too excited seeing one. He ignored the fellow loner for now, concentrating on who was smelly.
He squinted, nose scrunched up at the smell, but didn’t do anything else to show disgust. He glanced at Ritbant, ear twitching at his almost annoyed voice, and snorted. “Why did you come in and disturb my peace?” he asked him calmly, smirking, “Obviously because you were either bored, wanted company or wanted some peace yourself. That’s probably her answer too.” He couldn't help but smile charmingly at Eva as he gestured to her.
He snorted in Ritbant’s face, stepping beside him in a position so that he could see him and look at Eva with ease. He looked from one to the other, pausing. He made himself used to the smell(although it was a failed attempt), but smiled at her again. It was a bad habit or, perhaps, a useful one. He looked round at the cave entrance and exit, not bothering to talk. Instead, he waited for someone else to speak.

Unfortunatly for Ritbant, Eva took an immidiate dislike to him. She narrowed her eyes and raised her head a little out of annoyance. 'Well I'm sorry if I'm polluting your precious air, I'd hate for you to choke,' she sneered, 'And I'm sorry you feel that way, but to be frank I think I'm a little worse off than you.' Wonderful, just wonderful: this idiot had but her in a bad mood. She looked the loner up and down, calming a little she focused on happy thoughts.
Looking at the other wolf who she'd only just remembered, she felt a little bad she'd forgotten he was there, but then again, it was that ****'s fault, she thought, meaning Ritbant. Eva felt warmth tickle her cheeks when he spoke, and she was suddenly glad of her black fur. She let her lips curve into a small smile as she studied the wolf with her twinkling blue eyes. She opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again and let her smile widen a little. She then glanced at the orange wolf again, feeling a little more confident in herself. Thanks she thought silently, but gave Luka a quick, grateful glance, hoping he understood.

Ritbant could tell he wasn't wanted. He had almost sprung at the male when he had snorted in his face. He was grappling with the reaction to fight once more, when he saw the dislike in the female's face. It wasn't really his fault, but he really didn't like other wolves, and he wasn't by any means in a good mood.
So he had no trouble leaving. Even his curiosity couldn't keep him here. He hadn't been sleeping, so his nerves were stretched to the breaking point. And he would rather keep his nerves. He was sorry, sort of, for being rude, but he really didn't care that much.
He left with relief, sending behind him a parting statement as his voice drifted away. "Pleasure to meet you."

Luka watched Ritbant leave, ear twitching. All it was was a little comment, was it enough for him to leave? He was tempted to roll his eyes, but kept them still, and he looked at Eva. Nose twitching, Luka made himself smile charmingly at the Dancing Star Beta. He attempted to get past the skunk-stench, but couldn’t. Was she part of a pack or not? He hadn’t seen her about, and he had been in the valley a few months before the Falling Moons arrived. Maybe she was one of them. She certainly sounded like one of the more subtle ones. “Hello.” he greeted, adding a soft chuckle. Oh yes, very nice. Just go with the flow, calm. Ignore the stench. Damn it was hard.
He sat down, taking a deep breath through his mouth. He looked the female up and down, her blue eyes the only things interesting about her. He gazed at them, tilting his head to the right suddenly, his charming smile slowly fading. “And what is your name?” he asked, doing his best to keep his voice deep and calm, but he was on the verge of coughing because of the smell. He needed to get out of the cave, but held himself back. She could be of use.

Eva watched the male steadily, vibrant ocean eyes were welcoming, but it was pretty obvious she was trying to figure him out. He was a flirt, that was for sure. It wasn't a bad thing for sure, but something about him was untrustworthy, so she decided to play it carefully.
She gave him a soft smile, knowing full well she stunk like hell, but there was nothing she could do about it, except bathe in the lake for a bit...But she didn't really feel like leaving. 'I'm Eva, and you are...?' she asked politely, raising an eyebrow. She wondered if he was the sort who flirted to hurt females, or whether he was just naturally charming...Either way, she felt inclinced to stay and chat.
ooc// Awful, sorry, museless :/

Eva. Eva couldn’t be her name, it was too simple. Luka had a bit of power to it, Eva was just soft and.. It just sounded unfinished. Luka only nodded, almost forgetting it straight away, and introduced himself in return. “Luka.” he answered, chuckling. It was almost patronising, but Luka did have that sort of air that made him feel like he was better than everyone else. “And tell me…Eva, what happened to you?” he asked, attempting to make some sort of conversation. Or at least say something that could let Eva do all the talking.
He could hear the several drips of water around them, and suddenly he zoned out, just to listen to his surroundings. His smile was still there, but it was slowly fading. Hm.
ooc| Luka muse. I has none.
