Almira's words fell on partially deaf ears, because Fallon no longer wanted to hear anything her mother had to say. Tears no longer fell from her eyes, but her face was still angry. Her green eyes seem glazed over, and she stood still, for a long time, her body tensed. When her mother was finished, she didn't look at her. Hearing her pad away, she relaxed slightly. Turning, she began to follow grudgingly.
On her return to the group, Fallon's expression had changed, and now had her usual look of annoyance, showing no sign of what had jsut occurred only moments before. She trodded over to Dalryx, and sat down. Acting as if nothing had happened, she began to lick her front paw clean.

Dalryx, noticing the return of the two females first, watched them warily. His violet eyes looked for a sign of what had happened from Fallon, but he saw none. Soon, he gave up trying and he too sat down. He wondered why the two were so quiet now, because in the short time he'd known her Fallon had always had something to say, usually a smart remark. But nothing came from her creamy yellow mouth.
