It was the end of another long day, the sun just beginning to dip beneath the horizon and staining the sky a multitude of color from the soft blues of the day through pinks and purples and finally to the black of night. Already, the mood had shown herself in the sky looking down upon the earth in that lonely way she did as if the stars were not enough. Stars... The departed spirits of those once loved. Tamaska had brought himself away from his daughter, who slept beneath a tree not far from the edge of the stream, to watch the stars. Sometimes, he longed for them to talk to him. At other times, he was glad that they remained so quiet.
His parents were up there, roaming the eternal hunting plains, and so were his two mates. First, Makoto had joined them after a battle injury. She had been young, without pups, and her departure from this plain had stung. But in time, that stinging had passed and Tamaska had been able to move on. Reesha had been his saviour. The beautiful fae had brought his heart back from it's place of mourning and back to the realms of the living. With her, he had a single pup and then she too had passed. That single pup, now six moons old, travelled with him and it was only while she slept that he could escape.
Silence was a song like no other. As the black brute came to the edge of the stream he rose his head to stare at the skies and beside the song of the stream there was nothing. Not a sound in the world, for the birds had gone to sleep and those creatures which roamed the night had yet to wake. He was alone with those whom he had lost, and as his green eyes closed for a moment he took a deep breath in. How he longed for them to return, to see what he had become. But he knew such was not possible. He could not wish for such things, not when he had Kiko to care for. He opened his eyes again, allowed his rump to fall upon the soft green grass beside the stream and there he sat, staring ahead of himself, listening to the sounds of nothing.

Jhene
Padded about near her owns pack borders before crossing over into No Man's Land, It was nice to get away as it seemed she wouldn't be going on the trip to scout in No Man's Land. So she decided she'd take her own trip for her own reasons. She started into a light run as the wind softly blew against her fur. Pure bliss, was what she felt even if her leader had been kidnapped it was nice to escape the chaos breaking free and then re-containing itself. She halted when she smelt another wolf. Dead in her tracks with barely a sound, she could hear their movement as they weren't too far off from her.
She wondered if it was a loner who had wandered onto their planes it seem to happen so often she was sure it was one this time. Her pale blue eyes glowed with excitement as she began to creep closer to the sound she had heard. She froze behind a brute. He was black, smokey black to be exact, he was average size of a male but still much larger than her. Still frozen in mid step she held her breathe not making a sound. The brute was staring off somewhere in his own thoughts clearly not aware of her as it seemed.
She consulted being violent 1st but it wasn't in her nature. She dropped her paw from where it hung in the air making her presence now known. She padded up closer behind but stay a couple of tail lengths away. It was never bad to be to cautious. She spoke calmly her voice sounding like a soothing mother.
"Who are you? You don't smell of my pack."
She stated the last part more viciously than she wanted but she felt the need to make it clear that she was a part of a pack just in case her tried something. She wasn't wrong though he smelled of else where but not of Falling Moon so she was certain he was a loner. But from where? That she did not know. Her pale blue eye watched him curiousity gleamed within them. Who was this character?

The silence had engulfed him. He had lost himself to it's embrace and the thoughts which only came when he could truly relax. His eyes showed signs of inner peace, and also sorrow. A sorrow which was so particular it was easy to place. The sorrow of grief, of mourning. The sorrow one can only feel when they have truly lost something which has meant a lot. Here, in the silence, he could almost feel the presence of his parents and two mates... Who else had he known who was now in the other realm? Perhaps his brothers, others from his old packs - both that where he had been born, and that where he had settled.
He knew that Tekiko was safe. She was hidden from sight, and sound asleep. If she awoke, she would come to find him and he was not far from where she had settled. If danger was to come to her, it would be known before much damage could be done, and the pup was pretty tough for something her age. Certainly, she was not afraid to sink her claws and teeth into a threat.
It was the sound of a paw hitting the ground which brought him from his thoughts, the silence broken by the noise. He turned his head to see an ess of two-tone fur. Black and white come together to create quite the stunning sight. A young female, probably only a little older than Makoto when she had passed onto the next plain. He lowered his head slightly when she mentioned her pack, his auds lowering a little. He wanted her to realise he posed no threat to her or her own.
"No miss, I would not. I have travelled here from afar. I go by the name of Tamaska, and I wish no trouble. I was just taking a little time to think, I do apologise if my presence has caused alarm." he told her in calm, gentle tones. His voice was deep, masculine, and the sentence came out level. "Perhaps I could enquire to your own name?" he asked. It was best to keep things friendly, he knew, especially if he wanted a normal life for Kiko. If he wanted her to be balanced, to understand the ways of this world fully, she would need a pack one day and to upset the members of those local to here would never do.

Jhene
She smiled softly tilting her head at him, her blue eyes sparkling and her teeth showing their bright white reflection. He was quite the gentlemen, she arched an eye brow and sat down before speaking seeing that he clearly wasn't a threat. She had no need to not speak with him, he didn't seem to be looking for a fight but if he was she could take him...maybe.
"I'm Jhene, nice to meet you Tamaska. You're not causing a threat was just curious if you were merely running through or if you happen to be looking for a pack. My pack is always welcoming people...."
Her voice elegant and echoed a bit. Her ears twitched listening to the sounds around him. He was quite a site but then again she had fallen in love with his eyes. Of course she did that quite often with everyone's eyes, Brute or Fae she loved the site of someones eyes. Only because they held so much power. His eyes just happen to be a sparkling green. Ah green I haven't seen that color in a while at least not in eyes. She looked away feeling as if she was staring too much.
"Are there any others with you?"
It was only asked to get herself distracted from not staring into his eyes like a creep. She didn't want him to think she was odd or anything, but she couldn't help that she had a certain... affection she would call it for eyes. She always ignored the word obsession although that clearly seem to be what it was.
Looking down at her own paws to stop from feeling slightly embarrassed that she was staring at someone. She always felt guilty when she seem to notice someone to much. she always tried to be a bit reserve when it came to very close connections as she seem to make those quickly. She was one to get attached to someone within a few bare Sunsets. She was just that type of wolf and because of that she ended up hurt more often than others. She could never figure out why she was still always friendly and open even though being hurt countless times in such a rapid timeline.
