Pack Information

Here you'll find all the information you will need on what's going on in each pack. This should help when creating characters, so you can see where they'll fit in. You can also click each name which will take you to that wolf's file.

Please keep in mind the possible ranks for your wolves:

Alpha - The Leaders of the Pack. Both Male and Female are referred to as 'Alpha', not a female 'Alphess'. These have the most power and respect within a pack, they answer the calls of lone wolves who wish to join the pack, and they make all of the final decisions. Their choice can overrule that of any other packmember.

Beta - These are the second-in-command wolves. They are well trusted by the Alphas and therefore by the pack, and when the Alphas are not around, they can clearly take charge. They lead most hunts and can suggest decisions to be made.

Delta - These wolves make up most of the pack and are still trusted pack members. They have usually been around for a long time, or they are close to the Alphas. Pups who have reached adulthood are usually converted to Delta.

Omega - These wolves are still part of the pack, however, they may not be as well trusted, or they may have just joined the pack. Most newcomers are Omegas, and any shadier characters too.

Elders - Wolves don't live beyond 10 years in the wild, and that's if they're lucky. Any wolf beyond 7 years of age is considered an elder. Elders have the same level of respect as most Deltas.

Pups - Any wolf below the age of 1 is seen as a Pup. They have little to no responsibility and respect, and proving themselves as valuable pack members is often difficult.

(Loners - Wolves who have no pack, and therefore no position in the wolf hierarchy. No responsibilites and are not allowed to breed with pack wolves, which would jeopardize the pack wolf's position in the pack.)

Personality: A good source for amusement, Bryce knows just what to say to make someone laugh, but that doesn’t mean he knows just the right moment to say it. He’s not very empathetic when it comes to other wolves, so unless they’re bawling their eyes out, he won’t know they’re sad. Some say he has a little problem in the brain, but his parents just say he’s a very cheery soul. His main interest in life is making people smile, especially adults. He feels that, if adults don’t find him useful, then they’ll get rid of him. Bryce has a very big imagination and a large interest in exploring, a trait he got from Roan. Bryce isn’t easily angered, and when he grows up, he’ll be very fond of pups. He’s got a good sense of right and wrong, too, although he doesn’t often follow the right sense. History: Born in the Dancing Stars pack to Roan and Pembe, Bryce unfortunately was made parent-less at a young age. His mother died whilst giving birth and his father followed not long after. He was nursed by a fellow packmember, Esmerelda. He has one sibling, a brother named Conan. (the rest you can make up! He's only young but it's up to you from now on.)

Personality: Fraser is probably the complete opposite of his siblings. The adventureous sort, Fraser usually goes looking purposely for trouble. He rarely knows when to stop, and often gets in trouble because he says/does the wrong thing. He's not a naturally bad wolf, but he holds grudges and when he's in a bad mood, he takes it out on anyone who comes near. He's got a bit of a temper, and sometimes (when he gets older) lands himself in fights. Luckily he's got quite a big build, and he doesn't often get battered up too bad. Although there'll be a day when he's in the wrong mood at the wrong time, and bites off more than he can chew. All that said, he's extremely loving towards his family. They're the only ones he's got, and in his opinion, life's too short for regrets. He makes friends extremely easily, others are drawn to his sense of adventure and freedom. He doesn't believe that there are good and bad wolves, and is extremely open minded. He's not very secretive at all, and is usually very very blunt and open to anyone. He'll tell the truth, regardless of whether it will hurt someone or not. He's the kind of wolf that lives in the moment, and takes every day as it comes. (Feel free to add more to this)

Falling Moons

Name: Tallulah.
Gender: Female.
Age: One year.
Pack: Falling Moon.
Rank: Delta.
Personality: Being the only pup of Duke and Anevay's second litter, Tallulah instantly thought she was special. She is a drama queen born and bred; charming one minute and pregnant dogy the next. She knows how to get what she wants, quickly learning from her parents that using other wolves was the best way to the top. She hides all possible vulnerability behind a hostile and spoilt appearance. Being a very pretty wolf, and sure of it too, she is very confident when using her looks to get her own way. She does not have a lot of ambition when it comes to pack rankings, however.
Deep down, Tallulah has a compassionate part to her. However, she knows that this would be frowned upon in the Falling Moon pack - especially by her parents. Unless she ever meets a wolf who can show her that looks aren't the only things that matter, she is likely to remain this way.
History: She was born as the only pup from Duke and Anevay's second litter, with the older siblings: Onisim, Seta, Tessar, Iris, Rose and Tala. Up until the great Earthquake, she never had a hard minute in life (other than the occasional tantrum as a pup when she didn't get what she wanted.)
However, when the old Falling Moon territories were destroyed along with her old life, she found herself rather shellshocked. Tallulah was unable to find any of her old packmembers other than her father, Duke, and oder sister Rose. Together they travelled in search of new territory, and have recently settled down in Caden Valley.

Name: Onism
Gender: Male
Age: Three
Pack: Falling Moon
Rank: Delta
Personality: Onisim is a son of the Falling Moon Alphas, Duke and Anevay, and he has his sights set on becoming Alpha one day. Although he's on a stupid side, he makes up for it by his sheer size and strength. He's still young, but he is one of the strongest fighters in Falling Moon and is not afraid of showing his power off. He's a very large wolf, with a handsome dark coat covering sleek, rippling muscles. However unlike most male wolves of his age, he has no room for faes in his head, only training and fighting.
Before the earthquake, Onisim may have been seen as a little immature. However, since the tragedy of losing many of his family including Seta, who he was so competitive with for the position of Alpha, he has realised that life is not a light-hearted matter. It has made him even more determined to step into his father’s shoes one day.
Onisim’s determination also matches his courage and loyalty. Although he is not one of the most cruel or evil wolves in Falling Moon by a long shot, his loyalty makes him stick with his family no matter what. He does find it hard to show any strong emotions however, and is not an incredibly affectionate wolf. He does not appreciate those who are physically weak, and if he became a leader, he would be a hard one.
History: From a young age, Onisim has always admired and aspired to be like his father Duke. However, he never quite got along with his mother so well – a clever shewolf who seemed disappointed that her son was not the brightest spark in the fire. Growing up in a large litter, he was always surrounded by a competitive atmosphere which spurred him on to because so obsessed with his physical abilities, as he was constantly reminded that his mental abilities were lacking.
Although many of his siblings had an interest in becoming the heir to the Falling Moon throne, Onisim’s main competition was mainly with his brother Seta. However, after the earthquake, having realised most of his family were dead, Onisim had nothing to compete with. This didn’t stop him however – not liking the immense feeling of sadness he felt, he lost himself in training, and hasn’t quite recovered socially since.
Physical Description: Onisim is an incredibly bulky, brawny wolf, almost physically shaped like a small bear. His tawny brown fur adds to his rather threatening appearance (which can be misleading sometimes). His ebony black eyes rarely show any emotion other than fierce determination.

Personality: Raz is somewhat of a traveller. He is always a little distant, and detached, but when he does decide to tune in he is a very good listener. He likes to offer advice, and has a very wide view of the world. He is aware, from a very young age, that there is more to life than this valley, and he is sure that one day he will want to leave his family and broaden his horizons. He is bewildered by fighting, although he is perfectly able to protect himself and those he loves, and often makes older wolves laugh when he is younger by his maturity and wisdom. Despite this maturity, he is far from boring, and is often the one cracking the most jokes- however he knows when to keep his maw shut and get on with the more serious matters in life.

History: Born in the Falling Moons pack to Rose and Raiden, Razanur has one sibling (a sister, Saki). His father died when he was only a few months old... (the rest you can make up! He's only young but it's up to you from now on.)

Personality: Derova is a very stubborn and defiant pup. She takes after her mother in this way. When a decision is made by her, it's final and most likely will not be changed. She believes she can tell if she likes a wolf within the first five minutes of meeting them. On the surface she displays a tough disposition, and her shell is not easily cracked. It takes a lot for her to be able to open up to someone, and only a limited amount of wolves will be able to see her interior attitude which is basically the complete opposite of how she acts on the surface. Inside, she desperately wants to find someone who understands her, who would be able to know and have felt the things that she feels everyday. Finding love isn't a huge priority in her life, but if someone comes along then it's all well and good for her. She tends to be just like her mother when it comes to males. She's a bit of a tease, and takes on an air that she could get any male she wanted, though this may or may not be true.

History: Born in the Falling Moon pack to Almira and Zacharias, Derova unfortunately was made parent-less at a young age. Both of his parents died shortly after she and her brother, Sorrel, were born. She was nursed by a fellow packmate until she was strong enough to be alone. (the rest you can make up! Name: Naila
Gender: Female
Age: 2
Pack: Falling Moons
Rank: Omega since she came to them after being gone for about two years.
Personality: Naila is very stubborn, and is determined to get what she wants. She isn't the least bit conceited and has a playful personality to her. She is a bit shy when first meeting someone but that eventually dies down. Despite where she grows up, she has a nice side and often does show it, though she tries hard to take after Almira, but instead ends up being more kind like Josiah.
History: Naila was born to Josiah and Almira, the Beta wolves of the Falling Moons pack. She had three siblings, Fallon, Omari and Denzin. Naila was born shortly before the earthquake that wiped out most of Empyrean Valley...
She was separated from her siblings and her parents. She didn't really know where to go, but when she had come upon a large desert, she could smell other wolves. She had thought strongly about following them, but always stayed back to reconsider. Finally, loneliness and fear made of being along made her finally leave. She followed the desert path as close as she could, soon losing the wolf scent that was strong for so long due to high winds and the sands wiping away all the scent. She panicked but didn't quit. She was too stubborn to let that push her to stay so she kept going and soon came upon a valley, where familiar wolf scents led her back to Falling Moons territory. She has found her home.
Physical Description: Dark brown with black eyes. She's short, only about two feet off the ground. She has long ears, and a semi-puffy tail. Near her paws the fur grows darker and around her neck it's a little lighter. She has somewhat long fur. Some of the brown in her fur is a tanner brown, giving her a little of multi-colored fur.

Other: She tries to prove to Duke that she is a strong wolf and that she is as good as any male wolf.

Name: Hades


Name: Tammer [tam-mur] (Means 'miracle' in Arabic )
Gender: Female
Age: 2
Pack: Falling Moon
Rank: Delta
Personality: Tammer is a wolf who unfortunately was born with a defect; quite an odd one at that. She was born with weak legs, and was practically paralyzed. After her eyes and ears opened, she still couldn't walk long distances, but she was determined to be normal, and so she worked and still works her legs, building up the muscles. Eventually, she turned out okay, if not better. Speed is on her side, and she has amazing agility like Rose, but also has the strength of her father.
Though with the speed of herself, the agility of her mother, and the strength of her father her legs tend to still be weak. She trained very hard to build up muscle and become the quick-legged she wolf she is today, but her legs could still break a bit easier than another wolf's. This has made her even more quick in running, being determined to prove that she's not worthless and she is not one to back away from a fight. The Falling Moon blood in her veins makes her a stubborn one who acts quite sensitively to being told "no" or "you can't" and responds in a cruel, smart way to battle challenges. Her agility and speed are the main tactics she uses, dodging bites and lunges like an overgrown hare and getting in one of her own bites as she hops about. Tammer isn't as merciless as other Falling Moons, however, and will stop a battle if the other begs or she's given a bad scar to him/her. Killing one seems idiotic to her, seeing that if a wolf is dead he or she can not go back to their pack and tell them how powerful and dangerous she is to be messed with, and therefore she would not be able to gain honor and respect. And once she has that honor and respect, she's not afraid to flaunt it; making her have a haughty appearance.
Determined, stubborn, and haughty makes her quite an arguing partner if her honor and respect are challenged, but she does have the good qualities of mercy and loyalty and even an unfaltering love to be shared with secretly wanted pups and mate. Her loyalty belongs to her family, and she's been looking for them since the earthquake occurrence, refusing to even think that they were dead. (So I guess you could add "ignorance" as another personality trait.) If her family was to be blamed for something horrible that has all evidence pointed to them, she will always stick with them and say they are innocent. Plus, she would gladly die for any of her family members.
Secretly Tammer wishes for pups and a mate to share her love with, but she's always wanted to seem like she was strong and brave and without any gushiness, so she formed a mask that only showed her determined strength. She's not the hardest stone, though, and is quite a sucker for kind, sweet acts and other things; like pups.
Tammer overall is a determined, stubborn, and haughty wolf who can become selfless and ignorant when it comes to wolves she loves, but cannot escape her self-insecurities most of the time, like not being good enough for her loved and respected wolves once in a while when haughtiness goes away.
History: Tammer was born to Rose and Raiden, of the Falling Moons pack. She had two brothers, Bion and Blake. Tammer was born shortly before the earthquake that wiped out most of Empyrean Valley...
During the earthquake, everything was chaotic. Tammer was separated from her den, her siblings, and her parents and moved off somewhere under a fallen tree. ... Once her world became still again, she let what had happen sink in. There was an earthquake and because of it she was separated from her family. Huge tears came to her eyes as she thought for a split second that her family was dead. As quickly as she could, she pushed it to the back of her mind and desperately thought, "If I'm alive, they'll be alive," figuring, regretfully, that she was the weakest and yet she lived, so her stronger relatives must be alive.
Slowly she crawled from her hiding place, still shaking as though the earthquake settled inside of her. She then set off and searched for her family. She walked for five and a half hours through the territory before she gave into the screaming agony in her weak legs, and she laid without sleeping until her legs accepted the idea of walking again.
She searched the territory until her legs made her stop, and then again the next day. She just couldn't find them though; always looked in the wrong place. After five days, she figured that her granddad would've started to move the pack. So, she started walking and walked right out of the territory. From then she searched every place she stayed in thoroughly, and lived life as a loner for a year and a half, almost two, living off of hares, birds, left carcasses, and sometimes grass if she couldn't find anything.
Through this time her legs built muscle and each day seemed to be able to walk a bit more than yesterday. Eventually she started to run, and while boredly searching she started to train her own speed, always trying to outdo herself as there was no competition. Once in a while she tried to run as fast as a passing herd of caribou, and was almost as fast as a normal one.
Chasing, searching, hunting, walking, wondering and passing by wolf packs or another wolf or actually fighting another wolf was the routine for awhile. Then the year and a half, almost two, of her being a lone wolf passed, and she found herself in a space she didn't know. It was No Man's Land, and such the adventure continues.
Physical Description: Petite, with big paws and a gentle face that somehow could look stiff. A long, silky furred tail and big ears. This was the body of Tammer. A dark slate color painted her tail, back, flanks, back of the neck and head, head, forehead, and whole face. The same slate color also covered her ears and hind legs, just down to the point of her knee. Her nose is jet black, while her eyes are like bright ambers preserving odd, circular, black beetles in their centers. Her front of the neck, fuzzy chest, front legs and paws are colored silvery white. Starting at the knees of Tammer's hind legs and moving downward to her paws is the same silvery white. And last, but certainly not least, are her pearly white, sharp wolf teeth that can crack a bone in two, and her shiny black claws that help take down a meal.

Name: Artemis
Gender: Female

Personality: Artemis always so full of energy. Being hyper, she will do the craziest of things as a pup. As she gets older she will mellow down a bit. When she is older she will constantly on the lookout for a mate. Artemis is not afraid of a fight. She is a skilled hunter and fighter. Artemis never knows when to shut up. And she will always back talk you. She is always looking for a friend but sometimes scares them away with her hyper activeness. She is a rough girl who can't keep herself out of trouble. She gets sensitive when it comes to certain things but usually just brushes it off. She did not have a good first year though causing her to have a 'whatever' attitude. And she loves to announce that to the whole world. She tends to feel left out of somethings and will let you know how she feels. She often will talk to herself when she is alone or with a quiet wolf. She likes the companionship of others and gets along with other... well most of them.
History: Artemis was born to Pranta and Thor, of the Dancing Stars pack. She had three siblings, Poena, Hades and Apollo. Artemis was born shortly before the earthquake that wiped out most of Empyrean Valley. She and her family hid under a fallen rock that doubled as a cave/ hiding spot. Her mom and dad covered her and the other three pups up and they all stayed there for hours. She then stayed with her family until she was a year of age after the earthquake. On her birthday she ventured out and became a loner, and to this day she is still looking for some companionship. She has traveled a years worth of time looking for a place to stay for good but has had little luck. She was thought how to hunt by her mom and dad but had very little socialization with other wolves, so she had to socialize herself, therefor she knows how to take care of herself.
Physical Description: She is a light Grey/black wolf with the black turning into jet black when you reach her hind legs. Her front lets are a striking white color with black pads on both the front and back paws. Her tail is a dark grey color and it has a fan effect from the long shiny fur. Her front legs have a frill of white on the back with a small dot of black right above the main pad. Her ears are jet black until about a quarter inch on the inside where they turn to a striking pink. She has bright green eyes with tear-drop shaped pupils. The fur around her eye is a light grey and it covers the majority of her face. Her nose is jet black and has a white tip. Her teeth are still bright white because of her Young age, and her gums are light pink. Her tongue is dark red with a black spot on the back of it. All together she is a unusually striking pup.

Other: She is still sensitive when the earthquake is mentioned... it makes her think of her family and what happened. She visits the Vally every so often to see the place where she was born.

Name: Gwenevere
Gender: Female
Age: 2
Pack: Loner
Rank: Loner
Personality: Strong, and feisty. Gwenevere is the type that has a masked dark side, that is invisible to most others. Though she is the flirty type like her other sister, Sapphire. She loves to get rough and play although most others don't feel the need to have her around. Her attitude is one that is strong but sensitive and she dose not like to be used. She started searching for a potential mate at the age 2, this is very unusual for wolves her age. She is outgoing and fun, but when she gets mad, everyone knows it. Gwenevere is a wolf that just wants to be loved.
History: Gwenevere was born to Frosty and Crystal, of the Dancing Stars pack. She had one sibling in her litter, Kabuto, and three older siblings, Takumi, Toboe and Sapphire. Gwenevere was born shortly before the earthquake that wiped out most of Empyrean Valley. She survived the Earthquake just barley, though she was still breathing she had a hard time healing. Her parents were very helpful while she was in the healing process. Her sister made it out better than she did. She decided to venture out on her own when she realized she wanted to find a mate and have pups without the elders of her pack telling her how to live.
Physical Description: She is a dark Grey wolf with darker Grey almost black stripes running all over her body. She has forest green eyes with dark black pupils and a ring of light green around the pupil. Her paws are a very dark Grey coler with a few stripes of light Grey. Her teeth are very sharp and she has black gums. Her tail has a strip of dark Grey at the top but the rest of it is a cream color. Her claws are very shiny ans rough. The pads on the bottom pf her paws are light pink with a black stripe running horizontally across the main pad.
