Oberon is essentially very, very confident. He's a smooth liar, although he rarely lies unless it is needed, and is very charismatic. He recognises that humour can most of the time evaporate a tense situation, so he jokes when he needs to. He's quite serious otherwise, and has a bit of a tendency to overreacte if it involves people he cares about. When he cares, he cares a lot.
Despite being confident, he is not bigheaded about himself. In fact, he hardly likes himself at all, but he prefers to push that thought aside. His confidence arises from his charisma, from his easiness around those he wishes to be easy around. He can often go into dark, brooding moods and is hard to talk out of everything. He reads body language like words and this can annoy some people, him being so perceptive.
Although he seems young, he is actually quite wise and very clever. It does not take him long to think of anything, and if he's calm he can be very rational. He finds it hard to love those who do not have at least some depth to their personality, and he is very loyal to his pack and family by default. He hopes to reach the position of Beta one day, as he feels the superiority would come naturally to him, however he would not be put out to be left as a Delta. He gives respect where respect is due, and it perfectly willing to answer to orders unless he can think of some reason to disobey and try and persuade otherwise. Sometimes he can seem a little distant, when really he is just deep in thought. He can be a very, very vicious fighter when he wants to be as he is quite fast, and his perceptiveness regarding body language makes interpreting an attack easy for him- he is glad for his fighting skills as it makes him a worthy packmember, plus he is incredibly overprotective about ones he loves and wants to keep them safe no matter the cost.
History:
Oberon did not have the most eventful life before arriving in Caden Valley. He was very close to his mother, Pearl, but his father was a distant figure in his life. When his packlands were savaged by a disease, he only just escaped and managed to soothe himself better by being away from everyone for a while.
He travelled, after he had gotten better, and eventually found Caden Valley. He settled in nicely, not really ready to join the Caden Falls pack. When the earthquake struck, he was not deterred- he thought disease was a lot more frightening. Still, after the pack left, he felt he should join Caden and Sayuri to help their little pack grow, and he intends to stay loyal.
Physical Description:
Oberon is quite tall, even for a male wolf, and well muscled but still quite slim. He had bronze-brown fur, with darker shades on his back and around his neck, and lighter shades on his legs and jaw. His muzzle tip is white. His eyes are a soft golden brown colour.
