As wild and beautiful as wolves come, Es is coy and funny, witty and has an endlessly exotic appeal to her. She is determined never to settle down with a mate, preferring instead to flirt and care for other's pups as she grows older, she loves to run and move, she also has an intense love for water. She is drawn to vibrant colours and beautiful songs and can be found singing a lot of the time. She does love and miss her family, and despite sometimes seeming in her own dream world, she is actually extremely tuned into her surroundings.
History:
Although Esmerelda was only just finding her feet when the earthquake struck, in her first full season of life, she was already very aware there was something wrong with her father, Caerwyn. How else would packmembers keep dying within the pack lands?
She had been on her way to comfort her mother, Midnight, intending to use her puppyish charm and happiness to tell her 'Mamma, it'll all be okay.' when the earthquake rocked the valley. Esmerelda was already fast on her feet, taking after her uncle Blade like that, and was startled into running. Very nearly killed at some point, she got terribly lost. When the dust cleared, the valley was no longer the same and Esmerelda knew it.
She'd lost her father, her mother and her siblings, totally unsure of where they were. Had they been sleeping in a den which had collapsed in the earthquake? Had they been running on the mountains and lost their grip when the world shook beneath their paws? She didn't want to think about it, so she didn't.
She found only one wolf as she was escaping the valley, a lone male named Kinaki. He didn't like to talk much but he was all she had, so she followed him around, learning from watching how to hunt and survive. By the time winter came around, although it was only her first winter, she left Kinaki with many affectionately grateful feelings to him. He could've disposed of her at any time and she was never really sure why he kept her around.
She continued to travel like a loner, loving every second of it, learning that moving on in life can sometimes be beautiful. After arriving in Caden Valley she created a home out of No Man's Land, loving the privilege of being a loner but having her family nearby. She was very disappointed when she met her brother, Justyn, again only to find that he had become a Falling Moon.
Esmerelda eventually did something she thought that she'd never do- she fell in love with Bion and had pups of her own after rejoining the Dancing Stars. However, she slowly came to realise that she was not the sort of wolf who wanted to be tied to a mate and family, so has abandoned the post of attentive mother and mate and is toying with the idea of leaving the Stars pack for good.
Physical Description: Slim and elegant, but with runner's muscles beneath her pelt, Esmerelda is not your ususal petite female. She's actually quite average sized, with a thin maw and multitoned brown pelt. She is mostly a soft brown colour, but has darker brown dappling throughout her fur, and a white muzzle tip. Her eyes are a bright, vibrant green.
