Oberon was still standing, half-poised in his readiness to leave. And yet his paws had not yet become mobile. He remained standing still, watching the young female go through a roundabout of emotions again. Truthfully, he felt sorry for her. He'd left all of his family dramas behind years ago. She was only just walking into one.
He sighed and turned back a little. She certainly didn't seem as if she wanted to attack him. Like most Moons wolves, she seemed a bit unpredictable. Still, he thought, she's only a Moons wolf by blood at the moment.
"I won't patronise you, Tammer," he shook his head slowly, casting his golden eyes upon her with sadness. "I believe that Bion, your brother, is now in my pack. He has green eyes and golden paws, and the rest of him is black and white."
Oberon wondered whether to tell her about Bion's new family. Come to think of it, Tammer was an aunt, and she didn't even know it. It made Oberon feel rather old, almost laughably so, that Tammer was an aunt at such a young age and he had never even had a mate before. By choice, of course, but it was still mildly perplexing. He felt as if he needed to offer her some advice, but what could he possibly say? What did he know that would help?
"I know it's not really any of my business, and you probably think me a spineless, foolish Stars pansy, but I'm going to be honest with you. You are in the best possible position right now, being a Loner. Your brother may be a Stars wolf and you may still have family in the Moons pack but there is no war anymore. We are at a time of peace. If I were you, I would learn more about this place- about your family. Give yourself time, as a loner, to come to terms with everything before you jump headlong into a pack."
He wondered if she would take his advice. He knew nearly nothing about her. She was obviously confused and emotionally spent. He shrugged a little, feeling the hot wind lightly ruffling his bronze fur.

- Quietly Tammer nodded, her eyes watering just a bit. She felt sad, a bit angry, confused as she's been, and yet happy. She knew where Bion was now, and that he was alive. Her little anger subsided inside her as she noticed this, and she began to ponder about what to do as Oberon spoke again. - His words did not subside her sadness, but it did make her more curious about the future. There was another open door to chose from as to what to do about her family. - She absolutely knew she had to know about her family; where they were, what they were doing, what was new, how they were. She started to stand in her readiness to leave to seek out Bion, he was the for-sure family member she could see. But she stood still, thinking about the jumping headlong into a pack thing. She'd been so desperate to be in the Moons pack again, with her long-lost family, but now... The prospects had changed, seeing as how Bion was in the Stars. It made her confused about a pack to go into, and she wasn't even sure she really wanted a pack now to think of it. She just wanted family. So many things to sort out - it was a mind maze she'd have to escape. - First comes first, though, and Bion was first. Oberon had given her directions to the packs, where she was, and had even given her advice. He truly was a wonderfully kind wolf, and the first sentence of his advice log just sunk in. - She remained her ready-to-leave posture as he did, and said with a quiet voice, "You know, I don't think you're a pansy. Kind, though not a pansy. Or spineless or foolish." Tammer thought for a moment of saying that she was afraid of him when he first came around; just by his sheer size. And then her own personality that had come out on all her other confrontations to wolves shaded over; no, I won't tell him that. Then he'll think I'm the foolish, spineless pansy. - "And thank you for the advice, and the truth. I will keep the whole 'not jumping into a pack headlong' thing in mind. - "Right now, though, I'm going to find my brother," she continued. Silently she felt a pounding in her feet, telling her to start running. Deciding that she wanted to see him right away, and not go through a literal physical maze trying to find him by the short directions she received, she started asking for better ones. "If it's not too much trouble, could you give me the directions of the fastest possible way to get to the Stars?" - As Tammer waited for a reply, on the inside she began to calmly be surprised about her reaction to the news. It was half sad, half curious. She'd expected it to be like a bomb going off inside her and lasting a while. That's how most Moons would take it; by stereotype at least. Maybe, just maybe, basing it off of stereotype, she wasn't as like them as she thought, even though she was related to them.

Oberon smiled and dipped his head, a sign of mutual respect. The problem with these Moons wolves was that they weren't always so one-dimensional as one expected. He had to again remind himself that she wasn't yet a Moons wolf. In fact, she seemed kind enough that she may well fit in with the Stars. Or perhaps she'd decide to stay on the fence for now. Either way, Oberon felt proud to have helped her, and learned a little about her too.
"I'll do you one better," he smiled, "I'll lead you there."
He thought that this way, she wouldn't have to try and track a scent and arrive at an 'enemy' border without any protection. He could not let her into the Stars land, it was absolutely not his place, but he could show her the best spot for meeting her brother. The bronze wolf shook out his fur and tensed his legs a little.
"I hope you like to run..."
It was the last thing he said. He was sure she would not want to delay any longer, so with a swift nod he turned and set off. At first he ran slowly, rhythmically, glancing back to check that she could still see him. Then he settled into a faster, more natural run, taking him across the way towards the Stars land.

- Tammer smiled a minuscule amount of a smile at the signal of Oberon's mutual respect. Her smiling would've been bigger if not still saddened, though it made her feel happy enough that he did such a thing that she smiled. And then her smile grew into a noticeable, but small, smile. The soft, slow wagging of her tail came back into place too. He offered to be her guide to the Dancing Stars wolf pack. He was such a nice wolf. - She spoke with sincerity and gratefulness, "Thank you," as he finished speaking, and before she could make a comment on her running abilities he was off. She sat for a moment, shocked a little. Soon, the fact that he set off suddenly to get to her brother's pack sooner set in and she picked up her own pace. - Still with a small smile on her face she laughed a little, and ran very easily up to him. Running the same pace as he was, he was maybe just behind his shoulder so he could show her the way. As she ran the sheer joy of running kicked in. It always made her feel proud, and powerful. So, her small smile turned into an actual one. - For a moment she closed her eyes and ran at the very easy, but fast, run Oberon was in. She let the wind flow in her fur; unconsciously going even faster to make the feeling stronger. Then her tongue lolled out and flapped a bit in the wind. - Suddenly thoughts came into mind, and she remembered why she was running and who she was running with. Her eyes opened and the sight revealed that she was too far away from Oberon to proactively be lead to the Stars. And too far up in front of him. Blushing and ears going to her head for a moment in an apologetic way, she slowed and was back at his shoulder.
- "Sorry," she muttered a few minutes later as they ran; her running being alert now. She felt like she had acted like an over-engaged pup, which she had, and it made sense that because of this she failed to talk or go out of place again. - She just kept running; following behind Oberon to see her Bion. It was an excited, nervous feeling that swelled inside her. She was going to finally see him after all this time... She wondered if he would look different, or act different from what she remembered. She also wondered why he chose the Stars instead of Moons, if he knew if their family was alive, who his friends were and acted like, if he had friends, and if more of the Moons had migrated to the Stars after the earthquake. And even if he had a mate yet. - If that was the case Tammer would probably do an inspection of his mate to see if she approved or not. But, that could wait and would wait, as she didn't even know that he was in the Stars at the beginning.
- So, she just kept running.

OOC: Probably. I don't think if their running outside of the Out Lands that we should continue to roleplay that here? But I am confused about something: once the Bion/Tammer post is up and started, I'm guessing that Oberon would be there too, right? At least for the beginning? :]

ooc. He can be, if you'd like (: Or Tammer can just say that he crossed the border before. But if you'd like Oberon to be there to make it more realistic I'd be happy to oblige!
