Iris nearly bared her teeth at Silver. She ignored Taku for now, deciding to leave her lovely but slightly stupid son out of it and in his own dream world. She wanted to take care of this situation and make it quite clear that Falling Moon were not mindless savage idiots that Silver should avoid entirely. However, she knew he wouldn’t be able to make it very far with them anyway. Maybe it would be the best for him to just head to Dancing Stars and keep his tail for a few more days.
“Not enough to go about telling me, a wolf that has lived in that pack, what has happened in the past.” she snarled, her teeth now shining in the sunlight. She glared at Silver, “You speak about my own family like that to me as if I’m some idiot that has wandered into this land again, and I will make sure you can’t make it to Dancing Stars at all.”
Family was one of the most important things to Iris. If anyone tried to insult her father’s pack like that, she would be there to defend them. However, hypocritically, she didn’t want to rejoin the pack because she felt inferior and a black sheep of sorts. She preferred being a loner that favoured Falling Moon rather than a total Falling Moon wolf. Her father knew she was still loyal, despite taking her own independent path, and that’s what mattered. |

Taku snorted in amusement at Silver, studying him with slight confusion. What was he on about? He seemed to be digging an even bigger hole with his mother, so he decided to stay out of it...for now. Iris could handle a silly wolf like Silver. His mother was a very strong wolf, independant and such. It was probably because she was brought up under Duke's powerful leadership, she must have inherited the leadership gene. He smiled a little as he watched her fight her familys corner. He knew why she lived the life of a loner, but it was a shame because he could see her as an alpha. And that would make him...Well, a Beta at least, if not an heir.
He distracted himself with the conversation occuring between Iris and Silver so he wasn't dragged into the same thoughts as before.
"I'm sure he didn't mean any offense," he said, sounding a little more patronising than he'd intended, but he didn't care to be honest. Soon this conversation would be over and he'd never have to see Silver again. Still, he felt a little sorry for him. He obviously had no idea what he was doing, and his mum was just getting over protective about her family. "Silver here knows that Falling Moons aren't to be messed with." He raised his head proudly as he spoke, to show the wolf that he wasn't just talking about the ones over the border. "Next time you feel like showing off or acting like an ass on front of a born and bred Falling Moon and her son, who happens to be bigger than you?" his dark gaze was unwavering as he glared at Silver, "Don't." He felt pretty proud of what he just said, and his posture seemed to grow even more superior.
He didn't hate Silver, he was just getting on his nerves. He didn't look like he be a very good fight, either. It was a shame, really. He was bored. [/size] |

Silver stood a moment as he his audits twitched with the harsh tonality of Iris. He realized any wolf if pushed the wrong way could become aggressive or mean. He found himself taking a step back making sure she wasn't going to attack, and when she hadn't he realized Taku began speaking also. He listened intently, amused at Taku, yet not letting him know. He didn't need any further problems, especially because it was two to one right now. He knew not to underestimate even one wolf, even the yearlings could be dangerous when underestimated.
He began to give his cranium a slight nod as if to say a sorry. He had not meant to actually disrespect and he realized he only knew very little and what he had been fed. He began to walk away slowly to show he wasn't afraid of them. He merely knew not to agitate them further and hopefully they respected his knowledge or else they could attack him from behind, proving his point further.
