[-yells- C'mon Paint! Bring Rose in! Uhm...Welll, he's either Duke's age, or maybe a generation younger.]
Raiden's jaw clenched tighter around the brute's flesh as the pressure on his leg increased. By now, he was sure he had heard his bone snap. Snarls erupted from his maw through his clenched teeth, his jaws locked together as tight as possible to put up with the pain. The wheels in his mind turned vigorously, trying desperately to come up with a way to escape this torture. In the end, Justyn could cause more damage to him than he was to Justyn. He had to be wary about his moves. Justyn had the opportunity to leave him immobilized, which meant he wouldn't be able to hunt, and ultimately that he wouldn't be able to survive. He knew this was a game of who would tap out first. And though his bones were already bruised, he wasn't sure he could swallow his pride long enough to tap out.
It was just then that his eyes laid on the male's vulnerable neck. Justyn was so preoccupied trying to break his leg he was unaware that his neck was completely vulnerable to Raiden. In one swift moment he released the male's shoulder and quickly averted it to the open spot of his neck, aiming his jaws towards the male's vulnerable neck, ignoring all the pain in his leg for a brief moment. {Right now would probably be perfect =D}A growl of satisfaction came from Justyn as he knew he was causing Raiden some uber pain. Of course, his shoulder was likely hurting just as much, but he didn't care. Whatever it took just to give this wolf some backslapping. It wasn't until he felt Raiden shift that his realized he was in big trouble. From the corner of his eyes he noticed the approach of gaping jaws, and a look of surprise flashed across his face. His grip on Raiden's leg released and he tried to turn away - but before he could move fast enough he felt teeth grab the side of his face.
This time, he howled in terrible pain as his ear and his cheek was pierced by Raiden's fangs. He knew better than to try and rip himself away. Permanent damage would come. Justyn tried in desperation to claw at the other male, all the while barking his fury. He wasn't afraid now, he was pissed beyond belief. There was no way he was going to let Raiden bite off his ear.
He could still taste the salty, gooey blood in his mouth, but as he struggled to free himself, he started thinking about what was really happening.
Do I really want to win this fight?

Like a flash of white lightning in the middle of a torrential storm, Rose appeared at the bottom of the sloped clearing. Her dark eyes rapidly took the situation into account, and a choked cry of both horror and anger was released from her throat as she watched her two favourite wolves in the entire world attempting to rip each other to shreds.
And in a flash as white-hot as the lightning itself, she was the most terrifyingly angry she'd ever been in her entire life. Because she knew, no matter what, she could not run up there and throw herself between them. No doubt one of them, caught in the moment, would turn on her as well. And above anything else, she was not willing to risk hurting the pups she was carrying.
So she simply screamed, although it was more of a guttural snarl, which echoed towards them. She was so frustrated and furious at them, and her expression showed nothing but pure hatred for both of them. How dare they ruin what was going so well. How dare they screw things up at this late stage.

At the sound of Rose's snarl, nothing but his eyes averted to her lithe frame. His ears flattened as he looked back to the male he'd been trying to kill only moments ago. Raiden hadn't come here for a fight. In fact, he'd come here for the total opposite: to show his gratitude. He didn't want to think what Rose would've been like if she'd had no one to lean on. Even with that fact, Raiden wasn't gonne put the blame all on himself. He'd had no intentions of starting a fight with this brute. This male had somehow ignited his anger and eventually it had burst into flames. No, in his opinion it wasn't his fault. Well, at least none of them had been killed. No heart break here.
He still hadn't let go of Justyn's face by the time the snarl's echo had died down on the wind. With a heavy sigh and a quick increase of pressure on the male's face he finally released and wearily took a step back from the male. He probably wouldn't attempt to fight when Rose was here but just because Justyn was Rose's friend didn't mean he was Raiden's as well. If the male attacked him he wouldn't just stand by let it happen. This male somehow managed to make his temper flare more than anyone else ever had. Usually he was just able to ignore the annoying ones. Justyn was obviously the exception in this rule.
For the first time he peered down at his white socked leg, noting the damage there. Slowly he pushed some of his weight onto it, mentally wincing as the sharp pain shot up his leg and into his shoulder. A snarl of his own ripped through his throat. This injury would leave him vulnerable for at least a weak. He should've expected the male to go for a cheap shot on the leg, trying to leave him immoble at the beginning of the fight so he would have the advantage...And the easiest win. Stupid b*tch, he thought fiercly, shooting daggers at the male with his eyes.
Finally he was able to take his eyes off of Justyn and move them towards Rose. Just the sight of her was enough to calm him, if only a little bit. With clenched jaws he began to turn towards her, but not before directing a warning snarl in the male's direction. He didn't want him near Rose...Ever. He knew he was probably being a little too controlling right now, but he just needed him to keep his distance long enough for Raiden's anger to die down. As he moved towards her, he tried his hardest not to limp on his badly bruised leg. If there was one thing he hated, it was weakness. And Raiden would be the last one to show it.
"I only came to thank him," he told her, his vocie gruff and his words indicating that he hadn't started this fight, nor had he had intentions to. This male knew what to do to ignite his anger and he'd done just that. He had only himself to blame for fighting. He moved past her, not trusting himself to be near Justyn any longer. But then he stopped and peered over his shoulder, expecting her to follow. He wasn't about to leave her here alone with a male's whose blood still lingered in his mouth. Justyn had found a spot on his list of enemies and he highly doubted he'd be able to remove his name. [/blockquote]

The screeching sound of Rose's angry scream made Justyn stop dead in the brawl. It was hard to ignore the fact that half his face was being chomped off, but somehow he managed it. Now he felt nothing but an agonizing feeling of foolishness. Anger was bubbling in his stomach, though, and he had to force himself to keep his mouth clamped shut as he stared at Rose's horrified face, or else something very unpleasant might have come forth.
As Raiden released his grip, Justyn immediately stumbled a few steps away. His left eye stung; blood had oozed over it and he wasn't about to try and open it even to a slit. Momentarily, he wondered what he looked like - his ear felt like it had been pierced near its base, and he could feel the bite marks on his cheek. Blood dripped off of his face into the dust below.
He breathed heavily and watched Raiden limp towards his mate, catching, of course, the looks that the male was passing to him. As much as he knew it would probably piss Rose off, Justyn couldn't help but smile back (which also stung like bloody hell). The snide little comment made him chuckle out loud, quietly, and his eyes flashed. What was he trying to do? Make himself look like the hero?
"You've been away from Falling Moon for too long, Old Man," he snarled, his tail curling up with dominance. Clearly, none of Justyn's pride nor dignity had been sacrificed. "You've forgotten what we Moons are like." For Raiden to think that Justyn was going to be a nice, charming gentlemen in response to a 'thank you' was an interesting prospect. He cared about Rose to the point of his own death, but the least Raiden could have done was respect that Justyn wasn't looking to make some sort of amends with him, especially considering what this long-lost male was to Duke's daughter. A mate. And even though Justyn had never thought about being Rose's mate before, it was only his natural inclination to feel animosity towards him.
But there was no use throwing all that out onto the table. This was just simply a sore subject for the three of them and he was not about to act like Raiden and look for Rose's sympathies.
Finally, his face softened a tad as his head cleared more and more. The lust for enemy blood was dissapating. They had both hurt Rose's feelings. And Justyn could not blame her. That was saying something, because even Rose knew he was quick to blame, judging from his past. His head and tail lowered in neutrality.
"Rose..." And that was all he could manage. He barely even noticed her bulging pup-belly.
