{Alright, I'll change it. I'm sorry. I'm not very good at long posts, but I'll do my best. Is this better?}

Myu really truly was scum. To attack a pup of a the pack, even if the pup had stepped out of line, was cowardly. Of course, it was probable that Myu would win this battle hands down. That was what made the one-sided fight more of a joke. Jutsyn had no intention of interfering, however. The chances of Shiori fighting back and possibly winning were very low but they were still there. After all, Justyn had to deal with Myu's type of garbage the entire time he had grown up in Falling Moon, and that was what had led to his becoming Beta. Because he had been a fighter from the beginning. If Shiori ever intended to survive here, she had to be a fighter, too.
He watched carefully as the scene began to unfold; from Myu's merciless swipe to Shiori's estranged reaction. His eyes narrowed, however, when both females turned to look at him, no matter how short of a moment it was.
"Don't look at me, ladies. I'm just watching. Go ahead," he growled, his lips curling to the challenge. "Rip each other's throats out, teach each other a lesson. But looking at me could be your fatal disctraction."
He looked over at Myu during his last sentence, his eyes dark but humored. "You picked the fight with this pup, Myu. Don't get scratched too badly."

Myu snorted in Shiori’s face. She hadn’t picked this fight because she knew she would win. In fact, Myu felt she hadn’t started it at all. It was Shiori’s fault for stepping out of line, and she would pay the price. She could care less she was adopted by Rose, if that bitch wanted to deal with Myu afterwards then so be it. She bared her teeth, stepping back a bit, but had no plan on backing down. Her body wasn’t really made for fighting, sure, but she knew hell of a lot more than the pup.
She didn’t bother looking at Justyn this time, but her head twitched as she almost did. She kept her eyes glued to Shiori, teeth bared and legs ready to pounce if the pup moved. She could probably take it down in one move, but what would the fun in that be? Haha. There wouldn’t be any. “You’re funny.” she said sarcastically to Justyn, “But, if she had just backed down and admitted that I could easily take her prey away, then she wouldn’t be in this mess.”
Her ear twitched when she heard hooves. Looking round, she spotted some prey speeding off. Smirking, Myu glanced at Shiori and Justyn, then rushed off. “Love to stay and chat, but I have more important things to do!” she called, disappearing and leaving them to themselves.

Shiori blinked in surprise when Myu turned tail and ran. The pup was not stupid; she knew that Myu had not run from her. 'Why did Myu leave?' she asked Justyn. Shio's hackles came down as she relaxed. Shiori respected Justyn, the one who had found her. The pup placed one paw on the kill and pushed it towards the Beta. 'Would you like some?'
The wind whistled through the trees, and Shio swiveled her ears to listen. 'I think a storm is coming.'

Disappointed that Myu had left, which was strange because Justyn really didn't like her, the brawny male furrowed his brow and looked back at Shiori, letting a bored expression occupy his face. The pup was very foolish. But, even though Myu's words had a ring of truth to it, those rules just didn't imply in this pack. If you didn't fight for your own self-worth, you'd get trampled within seconds.
Justyn narrowed his eyes when Shiori shoved the tiny morself of food his way. It was a bold offer of her, giving food to a superior on her own terms. Ignoring her mention of a storm, Justyn turned his gaze away from both the pup and the pup's kill, in a dismissive way.
"I can catch my own food, but thanks," he replied very coolly, his ears twitching with the tickles of the wind. He realized that Shiori might respect him, not because he was Beta, but because he had found her and brought her into this pack.
Perhaps she shouldn't be thankful for that, he mused inside of his secret thoughts.
"This is your first kill, right? Good. The sooner you learn how to hunt big game, the sooner you'll earn your place here."

Shiori winced as she realized that Justyn had taken her offer the wrong way. She had meant it as a gesture of respect, but he had taken it as an insult. She knelt submissively in front of the Beta. 'I know that you can hunt your own food. It was not meant as an insult.'
A raindrop landed on Shio's nose and she sneezed. 'Oh, great,' she mumbled. Rising, though she kept her submissive posture, she looked up at Justyn admiringly. 'Will you teach me how to hunt bigger game, Justyn?' A strange light was in her eyes. Lightning flashed, and thunder crashed. 'I know that I'm small, but I don't let my size hold me back. I can use it to my advantage.' The pup was prepared to prove her strength.

Justyn sighed and looked up at the clouds, which were beginning to rain down on the world. Shiori didn't understand yet, why he had refused her offer of food and pointedly made it insultive. Maybe she'd get it someday, though. He wasn't like Duke or Myu who would "teach her a lesson" the second she showed a vulnerability.
His hazel eyes shot back to the pup, feeling uneasy at the way she watched him with those admiring eyes. "What about Rose?" he asked, escaping the responsibility. "She'd be more than happy to teach you how to hunt for real, I'm sure. I don't think I have the patience to be a teacher."
While he spoke, he found himself studying Shiori. This was the pup that Rose pretty much took under her wing. He should be a little nicer to her, perhaps.

{Could you help me out with a bit of a prompt? Please?}

{Can't you just go with the flow? :/ What Justyn said was Justyn's normal way of reacting. He's calm and cool and very stand-offish... And I'm not really in the mood to have some sort of tragedy in every thread. A simple conversation can lead absolutely anywhere.}

{Sorry. I guess I didn't clarify what I meant. What I meant by prompt, in this case, was if you would give me a hint as to where you would like me to take this. I'm a little out of it right now, sorry. But I'll post and you can tell me what you think.}
Shiori flattened her ears to her skull to keep water from getting into them. She blushed at Justyn's question. 'I want to see the differences in style of all the pack members,' she mumbled. Picking up her rabbit, the pup padded over to a tree and sat underneath the boughs. 'It was Rose's idea. She said that I have to see different styles, before I can develop my own. Will you help me?'
{I know it's short, but is this OK?}

{Like I said, a conversation leads anywhere. I can't really tell you where to take it unless we come up with some sort of unrealistic 10-post miniplot.. I am personally fine with just having our characters shoot some words around. Don't be worried that I'm getting bored because I'm not (: And yes, your post was fine with me ^^} Rose probably did this on purpose, he thought with a good-natured grin. Pin the pup on him so that he has to teach the bundle of fur to hunt. Or maybe Shiori was just making it up as she went along. Either way, he wasn't really interested in teaching her, but he would give her a few pointers. Maybe he'd get an idea of what being a parent was like.
"Umm, well, you asked for it. Don't get frustrated if you can't follow what I'm telling you," he growled roughly, standing up on all fours. "Show me how fast you can run."

Shiori gave Justyn a fierce grin and bolted down what was left of her kill. She stood and focused her gaze on a bolder that jutted from the ground across the clearing. Gathering her strength, she shot towards it, her paws barely seemed to touch the ground. When Shio reached the rock, she skidded around on her right front paw, coming to a stop facing Justyn. The pup stood in the rain, not panting, waiting for Justyn's opinion on her sprint. 'Is that what you wanted Justyn?' she asked.
