Drake was considering why the pup had stopped and suddenly pawed at her face but then shock hit his whole features as she embraced him. He felt her body jerk in a sad motion, she was upset for whatever reason. It had something to do with a part of her lost apparently. He couldn't help but nuzzle her head out of worry, he didn't want her to be upset. It made him feel uncomfortable and very responsible for her. He suspected it may be that she didn't understand her feelings for him as she did say she liked him but he was also semi certain that wasn't the case as she-wolves usually knew what they wanted and did not. Why they wanted what they wanted and how they wanted it, that was just there nature.
When her small voice reached his ears asking if he would join her pack he became ridged. A pack? Him belong to one, he hadn't interacted with many other wolves in many moons. He nearly shook at the thought , not in fear but in a strike of anger. He didn't let that appear on display he was a master at hiding things. He didn't work well in packs he had proven that long ago also most wolves tended to shy away from him as he was considered to be evil. He wasn't evil or at least he didn't think so. He let out a long sigh and tried not to think about his response before he spoke. He didn't want to make a promise to a pup that he wouldn't keep, he certainly was a promise keeper that could be proven by his continuous search for his sister. His sister... what if the pack knew of her where about?
"Akiko...I don't know your pack seems in a rocky state. I doubt they will accept a loner, none the less you certainly thought I belonged to their rival pack so they might attack me before I could even speak or they might consider to hold me captive as your own rival pack did to your leader. I'm not sure this is the best time for me to join your pack."
His words were wised but certainly masked but his tone sounded normal and calm. Behind them held a flood of thoughts and one strong emotion he couldn't necessarily pin point it but he knew whatever it was it was having a strong pull towards him. He cared for this pup oddly they hadn't been around each other long but this pup pulled out some thing within him he had though was certainly lost. Why had he considered that part of him lost? Well it was a story he could recite coolly even though his head was filled with guilty thought.
"Drake, Its your fault my father hates me! You did this to me! You planned to over throw him and manipulated me the whole time." The voice of Isabelle echoed in his own head. He never even got to see what his pups could possibly look like as he was driven out of the pack within seconds of her shouts. He hadn't done anything to over throw her father. In fact she had killed her own father herself and Drake had found her there over her father's body. He choked down a long low growl, he didn't need to upset himself with those thoughts not when there was a pup near. He was disappointed in himself that he was such a monster and this pup didn't see it. If he got to lost in his own memories he could become something murderous and ruthless. Maybe that was why he needed Fatal back so bad, she kept the thoughts away usually. But like he had told himself a while back that when they separated he wasn't whole and could not function correct. He became a monster and he had no clue of what she was made into. Looked down at her but could only she her ears twitching.
"Akiko, If you take me to your pack and I feel there are no threats or any negative relations towards me I might consider joining."
He didn't think this pup being sad would affect him this deep but it did. It caused him to be angry he had caused it a bit. He liked her better when she was bubbly and quite like the old Fatal he use to know. It was always better for him when their green eyes sparkled. It made him feel some sensation inside he could not put a name too. This pup within the little moment they had shared had the same power effects of what Fatal had over him and that took many years of deep connection through out there hardship. Maybe a family of his own was what he needed to actually be complete? But the family would never be real, she wasn't of his blood not matter how bad he wanted it to be. Even if he dismissed that she would need a mother, he doubted her mother would want to be his mate none the less did she want her pup near him. He didn't even know if her mother was the type he considered as a mate. It was all too much, but he was willing to risk it for this pup? Had he finally lost his mind from being away from his "Yang" for so long?
