He expected what Oberon would tell him would be slightly surprising, but in a way, he assumed something like that. She did seem quiet, almost like a loner. Everything Oberon had mentioned basically seemed to sum up what little he saw from Bandit. Still, he was left wondering what exactly her speech had meant to him. Should it be taken as a threat, or an acknowledgement? Maybe she meant to subtly hint at having the position of either Beta, or Alphess. What Oberon had told him seemed to only sum up her personality. Everything else, as he implied, was a mystery, something that had to be asked upfront to deserve an answer. And truthfully, Caden wasn't sure if he was ready to ask such personal questions of a wolf who seemed to already dislike him, if not despise him.

"I don't think she likes me very much...For whatever reason," he informed the male, basically thinking aloud. He shrugged with a sigh. There was always gonna be wolves who don't like you. It was an inevitable and unavoidable factor of life. Still, he couldn't help but wonder what he'd done wrong. He cleared his throat, trying to keep his thoughts at bay. "So, how did you two meet?' he questioned, honestly curious as to how two conservative, and quiet wolves came to be such loyal friends.

His eyes lingered on the male for a little while, almost watching as the wheels turned within his head, gathering all the knowledge of Bandit and then piecing it together to see if she disliked him or not. Caden honestly wasn't so sure why he cared so much. She was just another pack member, and he'd already come to the conclusion that not everybody was gonna like him.
Although Oberon's words had been used to correct him, Caden couldn't help but feel a little comforted by them. He knew he would have wolves he disliked him, but it didn't mean he would like it when they did. So when Oberon encouraged him that it wasn't dislike, his spirits lifted ever so slightly.

Caden had expected that his intrigue and curiousity would die down with the amount of information he was receiving about this certain wolf. But it actually made him want to get to know her more. He wanted to be the one to delve into her mind and reveal her past, if only to himself. He wanted to know about her likes, and dislikes just because she was a mystery that seemed to long to be solved. When he thought about it, it seemed so easy, but in the back of his head he was sure it would be rather difficult. Surely, he couldn't just trot up to her and start interrogating her about her life. It wouldn't work like. And Caden wasn't exactly eager about digging into someone's past who clearly didn't want to reveal it. Still, he couldn't help but wonder what lingered in the barriers of her mind just awaiting a revelation.

"She seems like a mystery," he said with a heavy, almost sorrowful sigh. Bandit seemed to be the only wolf he just couldn't figure out. None of the other females in his pack were a problem. He was able to piece together their personalities within minutes of meeting them. And from there, he was always sure that their history, or likes or dislikes were sure to follow. Why couldn't it be this easy for Bandit?
